Awarded the 2019 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for providing consistently outstanding experiences and whose owners offer first-class customer service to their guests The Grey House is a stunning brand new luxury Hamptons inspired home, located in the heart of the Hunter wine country. The Grey House is a 5 bedroom spacious home with 2 ensuites, 1.5 bathrooms plus a home theatre. Step down to the huge open-plan living area, giving a light and airy feel that is stylish and luxurious. The open plan area opens up to views of the Greg Norman designed, 18 hole championship golf course and the Bimbadgen winery. Furnished with comfort in mind, you will have at hand, everything you need when away from home - all of the little things having been thought of. And when you want to eat in, enjoy the large entertaining style kitchen with a butlers pantry. There is also a large entertaining area with a BBQ. The estate has a pool, spa and gym. A restaurant, bar and grill is available on-site and within a short walk from the house. Often kangaroos bounce close to the backyard - it's really beautiful to see these creatures in their natural environment whilst you could be sipping wine or entertaining beside the BBQ. The sun sets majestically at the back of the house, just perfect for when you would like to wind down. The property is central to all that the Hunter Valley region offers. There are many boutique and commercial wineries on your doorstep and the Hunter Valley Gardens just an 8 minute drive away. Just a short walk from the house is the Bimbadgen cellar door. Please note that this property is NOT pet friendly. ACCOMMODATION Maximum 13 guests or 10 guests in individual beds Bedroom One (Master Bedroom) - 1 x King Bed or 2 x King Singles with the option of a single foldaway bed available upon request (3) Bedroom Two - 1 x Queen Bed (2) Bedroom Three - 1 x Queen Bed (2) Bedroom Four - 2 x Singles + Tri bunk with Double bed bed on bottom and single bed above (Top bunk made on request only) (4) Bedroom Five - 1 x Queen Bed (2) TARIFFS WEEKEND RATES (2 nights) (Thu-Fri or Fri-Sat or Sat-Sun) Weekend - minimum 2 nights for up to 8 guests (adults or children) $1182 per night Midweek - minimum 2 nights for up to 8 guests (adults or children) $887 per night Extra adults are charged at $106 per person per night Children aged 2-12 are charged at $64 per child per night Infants under 2 are free. Please note that a $40 booking fee is applicable for all bookings made. SECURITY DEPOSIT A security deposit/bond of $1000.00 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre- authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival, so please ensure the funds are available at this time. LONGER STAYS Please contact us for a customised quote for longer stays of 3 nights and over. NOTES A 1-night stay may be accepted at discretion of Management within 14 days of the prospective arrival date. A surcharge is applicable on the 1-night stay, this will be calculated by our staff and quoted to you before the booking is confirmed. Weekend Public Holiday, Easter, Christmas, and New Year periods require a minimum 3 night stay full weekend rate. Concert and special event weekends in the Hunter Valley will have a set minimum night requirement to stay and may attract a surcharge. Fantastic house, fantastic location, great for a weekend or even a week. Beds so comfy, bathrooms extremely clean. Nineteen cafe/bar/restaurant is within walking distance and is great! Ticks all the boxes.

The house was perfect to accommodate our family. Plenty of room, and within 10mins drive to all places we wanted to visit in the wine region. The house was so well equipped and the boys loved the home theatre . Being able to Bluetooth any movie instead of DVDS would have been the icing on the cake. Would definitely stay here again if I was in the Hunter Valley with a group

Home away from home
The grey house was a the cherry on top of our Hunter valley wine experience. The subtle grandeur and numerous living spaces of the house felt like we were home. With 13 of us varying in ages, there was still space left over! I would highly recommend this home for a large group seeking a modern and grand home away from home experience.

Lovely house, great stay!
It was exactly what we needed for our group stay! Just note there’s no WiFi at the property. It would have been great to have and seems unusual not to have it. Other than that, it is a wonderful house in a great location in a wonderful place

The location is perfect, you feel very close to nature, and at the same time, you have easy access to great amenities at the Vintage. The property looks very well maintained and it’s very comfortable as well.

The Grey House was wonderful! Beautiful and spotless with everything that you need.
The hosts were very helpful and responded straight away. My guests were extremely impressed with the house. Beds were very comfortable too. Air con came in very handy on the two hot days there.

Beautifully appointed with a welcoming homely feel and all the necessary comforts for a great w/end.
We had a wonderful weekend celebrating our mother’s 70th birthday. She wanted nothing more than an opportunity to spend quality time with her children and grandchildren. The grey house certainly allowed us to relax, hang out and spend time together. The children were amused by the wildlife and golfers not to mention the cinema whilst the parents sat in the sun with a cheese plate and a superb HV wine. Thank you!

Amazing house
We really enjoyed the stay at this beautiful house. My only very minor feedback is that for a house that has the ability to sleep up to 14 adults, there is limited parking, a dining table which sits only 10 adults and a two piece toaster. The fridge also leaked a bit of water. Other than this the house and stay were amazing and still give it 5 stars.
