The "Miami", SURROUNDED BY WILDERNESS on 2 sides, on a corner lot of a large unused wilderness park and SAND DUNES! "PRIVATE" 8 ft. x 8 ft. HOT TUB ( Available All Year & WINTER ) STEAM ROOM with dual showers. Electronic Game room (AREA 51 & MAXIMUM FORCE 2-PLAYER SHOOTING ARCADE VIDEO Game & Full-size Pac-Man machine (w/ 60 other games from the 1980s) & a Poker Machine. Also an Auto Racing Machine, with steering wheel & gas pedal. Pinball Machine. Games are all free except the Poker Machine. PlayStation 4. Electric MASSAGE CHAIR. . Free Soda machine w/ 4 flavors, Belgium waffles, Shaved ice machine, 3 types of Coffee machines & Grinder. An on-site professional body massage, by appointment, at extra charge. 3 PERSON INDOOR JACUZZI/ TWO-SIDED FIREPLACE in the bedroom(not operating during summer) & living room/ 2 mountain bikes, Tandem & female cruiser(not available in winter). 2 Paddle Boards, 2 Kayaks, tandem kayak, Surf Boards,( Summer only), beach chairs, Corn Hole Toss & Spike Ball Games; at the beach. There is nothing between you and the fine, sandy beach except a short "3-MINUTE WALK" down the footpath through the sand dunes to the lake. Beach chairs are provided. The sand is so fine that when you drag your feet, it actually squeaks. Open either the six French doors in the living room to access the hot tub or the four French doors in the bedroom and step out onto the expansive deck or stay inside and listen to the soothing sounds of Lake Michigan’s surf,( when the waves are up) and the songs of the crickets in the dunes. Let the sounds lull you to sleep. The master bedroom features a king-size/four-poster bed; & an additional queen-sized hide-a-bed with an extra 3-inch foam mattress topper. This is a 5-star accommodation at an awesome, natural 5-star location. Pets OK. The floor is covered with a super plush 90-ounce carpeting that you can really sink your feet into, a master bedroom with a grandiose four-poster kind size bed worthy of a King or Queen, and Two sided gas fireplace. Extra-large bathroom with a three-person Jacuzzi tub, flat screen TV, beach sand toys for children, glass-surround dual shower, dual basins set in blue pearl granite, bidet, and an antique vanity dressing table. Truly a five-star feeling. You will also find an invigorating steam room with dual showers. We loved our stay this past weekend. This was perfect for a winter storm. The games, hot tub, everything was so fun we didn’t leave. The view of the waves with the storm was amazing. Thank you for all the thoughtful touches, it sets this apart…in a great way!

Condo is beautiful and huge! With gorgeous views of Lake Michigan, the condo is ideally located and in a quiet neighborhood. Super clean and beautifully decorated and furnished. Highly recommend!

This was my first experience with vrbo. I was a little nervous, but it was a good experience. Communication was exceptional. The room (Miama) was perfect, quiet, private and relaxing. The room was very clean, as well as all the room amentities. I would definitly rent again

This is a thoroughly enjoyable retreat. The spacious apartment has many playthings and features including a steam bath, pinball machine, jacuzzi, massage chair, hot tub, 2-sided fireplace, and arcade games. The most outstanding feature is the location—an unobstructed view of Lake Michigan on a large deck, and a short walk to the beach. The only flaw is that the kitchen has pots without lids and lids without pots. This is our second visit and it won’t be our last.

We really enjoyed and appreciated the location: central to restaurants, parks and activities, and just a short walk via private path to an uncrowded section of beach with helpful beach equipment made very accessible. The unit itself was comfortable and well-appointed, with a quirky combination of amenities along with extensive signage for those who appreciate having instructions on how everything works.

Also we thought cable is included but you would have to log in on your own account. Overall we had a great time with our stay especially our furbabies. It was mentioned it gets hot for their paws so now we know next time have them wear shoes or booties. The appointed person is very attentive and always available when we had questions. Also very understandable when we mentioned we accidentally broke one of the coffee makers glass. Thanks for everything!

View beautiful. Location great. Pop machine on the bottom floor 24 stairs away. Not really good for people over 50. And my small dog. No closets for your clothes. Camera for watching the deer not turned on. We left early. If we were under 50 awesome place. I think we are hotel people I don’t want to cook and clean on my vacation

It was an awesome get away! The house was beautiful and plenty of room for my husband, daughter (who is 30) and our dog. The view from the deck was amazing! There were a few of the games that needs a little work. The screen was very wavy and hard to play. We enjoyed the pinball machine the most. The hot tub and jacuzzi was wonderful too! In the evening we watched the deer go past. The kitchen and supplies worked out great. The only drawback to the house was the sofa bed. There is a topper you can put on top of the mattress but our daughter said it was not comfortable. The beach was wonderful but the waves were to big to try out the kayak or paddle board. Instead of finding shells in places like Florida there were so many beautiful rocks that washed up on shore. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful view and great proximity to Lake Michigan. We enjoyed the beach and also the many amenities the property offered. We had to bring two vehicles, parking was a bit tricky but the caretaker was there to help me out. Some inside features are a bit worn but we were there for Lake Michigan so it didn’t bother us at all. Thank you for a great weekend away!

Everything in this location is exactly as advertised. No special effects with the photos, no exaggeration on conditions. What you see on the website is what you get and even better when you actually get in and experience this property. The place is immaculate and maintained professionally. The list of amenities is almost too extensive to believe - but they're all there. There's nothing obstructing the view of the lake, yet the deck is absolutely private. King bed is very comfortable and also has a view of the lake. The beach is immaculate and is combed daily. The sand is so fine and soft it "squeaks". There's no public parking nearby, so we basically had a stretch of beach to oursleves. Owner welcomed us with a tour of the place via phone call and indicated he would be available to us 24/7 if we had any questions. But we didn't have to use this service, because any questions that could possibly have come up during our stay were previously answered in his email prior to our arrival. Directions to our parking spot were absolutely clear as were the directions for our entry into the unit.
You're good to go the moment you arrive.
I can't recommend this property highly enough. We will absolutely do this again.

I love this place. The view is GORGEOUS! You couldn't ask for a better spot in all of Michigan City. The beach area is semi-private since it's off the house and yet you're just minutes away from everything (can walk to the park with the food trucks). The home is modern and perfectly maintained. Owner couldn't have been better with instructions. This was the perfect place for some R&R. I LOVED the massage chair. Kicking myself for not getting in at least one bath in that ginormous spa tub. I brought my dog. He's small so easy to carry him up the stairs. If you have a dog as well, bring a headlamp since you'll be in the dunes at night. I had several deer come up to see us. It was like being in a movie. Magical to see them so tame and under the stars like that. Truly can't say enough what a wonderful time I had. Also--I was there Memorial Day weekend and was able to catch fireworks over the water. Absolutely incredible.

Wonderful location right on the beach, great sunsets. Property has a ton of character, very quirky in a good way! Lots of good amenities, all as advertised. Had a blast playing old school arcade games. Communication with property manager was very easy and informative. Neighborhood quiet and easy to navigate, close to town. Had a fabulous stay, highly recommend!

We had a great time for our anniversary staying at this property. Since it was cold and rainy, we didn’t get to use the hot tub on the balcony or spend much time at the beach. We’re hoping to visit again when the weather is better. The pinball machine and arcade games were really fun to play after spending the day in town. Owner has done great job leaving instructions around the property as well as labels.
Side note - vrbo sends multiple emails that you need to read through. Make sure to read all before contacting owner. There are some you get right after you’re approved to rent and then one a few days before arrival. All have important pieces of information!

The more you stay here, the more you will realize what a wonderful place this is- especially for us as a couple-but we’re sure two couples would have a great time- one couple would have the hideaway bed in living room- but it has additional mattress topper
The view of Lake Michigan is INCREDIBLE-third floor so be sure you’re healthy enough to climb stairs - then a quick walk over the dune (saw deer everyday on dune)and you have miles of beautiful beach to walk on- Then wonderful steam room and jacuzzi tub we used to relax
each night. Quick 5 minute drive to several very good restaurants and casino. Newly installed complimentary soda machine at entrance is very convenient and we used it often.
You might enjoy the video games that were newly installed here but be warned- three of them take up the entire master walk-in closet hanger space- there are several dressers in master bedroom however.
This place is NOT cheap-especially in Summer- read fine print for many extra fees even in off season- however for what you get it’s worth the splurge-highly recommend

Underhanded and unacceptable business practices. Almost insisted I bring quarters to pump into his poker machine. It was fun, but when The poker machine paid out only a portion of the winnings. I informed the host about the $23 that was not paid out and was told in a pompous way he would not honor it. Upon arrival-the place was dusty-oven dirty-spots on carpet. We spent hours cleaning the floors and rooms because he had already showed his underhandedness with his poker machine. We left the place far more cleaner. Have videos of before and after. Disgusted that this scam artist is actually making accusatory statements and trying to charge extra.

We loved the location, the view, and the amenities (hot tub, sauna, massage chair). We loved the immediate access to walk to the beach, it was perfect even in the winter! The setting was quiet and peaceful. We loved the vaulted ceilings and all of the light. The general access is close to Blue Chip Casino, at least two excellent breweries and of course the Light House Premium Outlets. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return!
