Excellent location, right in the middle of Old Quarter. We loved the coffee shop below the hotel too (great after a long travel day!). The bed was very comfortable, and the fridge in the room was great for keeping water cool.
We had some issues with hot water availability, however it was so warm in Hanoi it didn’t bother us too much!

I had a fantastic stay at here. The property has a beautiful vintage charm, and being located inside a coffee shop made the whole experience feel unique and cosy. The balcony overlooking the street was a real highlight. Perfect for relaxing late at night or enjoying the early morning atmosphere of Hanoi.
Although you don’t meet the main host directly, the family who works at the property takes care of everything, and they were kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained.
The location is excellent, right in the heart of Hanoi with easy access to the main streets, cafés, and shops. There are stairs to reach the rooms, but the lower floors are easy to access, so it’s only something to consider if you struggle with climbing.

Overall, for the price, this hotel met our expectations and reflected the pictures online. For one or two nights, it’s exactly what you need. The AC worked great, bathroom and sheets were clean, bed was comfy, and had a fridge to keep your water cool. The view from our room was just like the pictures, and location was perfectly central in the old quarter.
The host Hannah was great at communicating and set up an airport transfer for us for a reasonable price (around $16). The entrance is through the cafe (which had some good coffee), and she provided us clear instructions on how to enter even for our late check in at midnight. She also let us store our luggage after check out before we left for our night train.
Also, I was worried that it would be noisy since it was in the old quarter, however, it was actually pretty quiet with the sound proofing. However, if you’re a very light sleeper, bring some ear plugs 🙂
The room can definitely use some deep cleaning and refresh. Had some stains on the walls and a moldy smell (probably because the AC is off until you turn it on yourself). The glasses for water were a bit stained.
The staircase to get to the 4th floor is pretty narrow, but if you’re a young couple like us, you’ll be fine

One power button was indent into the wall on the right hand side of the mattress. A black plastic cover on the right hand side of the shower control came off showing the power cord right under the water tap. These posed the safety risks. I did not expect the room with 2 levels when I booked: so it is hot where the mattress is (on sublevel). On the last night I stayed, from 4 am, there was walking noise on level 4 right on my head (I was sleeping on the sublevel in room 302). Every single walking step on level 4 knocked your head and I was unable to sleep from 4am, so I left.
