Step out the front door onto one of Door County’s finest sand beaches! Pioneer cottage provides the perfect setting for a deeply relaxing vacation. You stay in an authentic log-cabin but with modern conveniences like fast wifi and electric heat as well as a fireplace. You can sleep upstairs overlooking the lake, lulled to sleep by the waves. Enjoy your own private beach right in front of your cottage, or stroll along the sand beach, with the waves lapping on your toes, for a mile in either direction.

Location was perfect. Not far from Sturgeon Bay and right on the beach. Had a lot of beach days. Kitchen had everything we needed. Apartment size stove but we made it work just got creative. Cabin was super cute, loved how they had original pictures of the cabin up. Loved the covered porch/sun room. I think my only negatives is the mattresses could be upgraded and more comfortable seating in the living room although the couches were very cute. We did absolutely love our stay here.

The property has a beautiful view to the lake. The kitchen utensils were not the best. We found bed bugs on our beds, good thing is that it was our last day of our stay otherwise it could have been terrible
