The ideal family accommodation for a relaxing, yet adventurous, self-catering holiday. A bright, spacious and fully equipped holiday apartment located in a small apartment building (4 apartments). Private entrance. A true home away from home.
Within walking distance of the Akureyri golf course and the recreational areas of Naustaborgir and Kjarnaskógur Woods. Akureyri serves as an ideal base to visit all the major sights of north Iceland, e.g. Mývatn, Dimmuborgir and the Myvatn Nature Baths, Godafoss and Dettifoss waterfalls, the charming town of Húsavik with its superb whale museum and whale watching boat trips. Ásbygi, one of Iceland's gems is also within easy reach.
Akureyri offers a vast selection of interesting museums of times passed and of some of Iceland's best poets and writers. The ever so popular Akureyri municipal swimming pool is also close by.

Lovely roomy space with all the amenities, and close to but not in town. After a week of traveling we especially appreciated full laundry!

Bright rooms with pleanty of space even for 7 people. View to the mountains.

This apartment was a perfect place for exploring Akureyri. It is clean, modern, and had everything we needed for relaxing and for preparing meals at home. It has beautiful views but also is close to a grocery store, trails, etc. We even walked to the Botanical Garden and to downtown area. Our host was very responsive, communicated well, and provided excellent information and instructions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Thank you, it was a very nice apartment, lovingly decorated, clean, in a good location, we felt very comfortable, good communication with the host Gudrun. We would like to come again. Iceland is so fantastic, we had nice weather that country is really a dream.
