The cabin was perfect! Located close to Town. Very comfortable for 6 people. We completely enjoyed ourselves!

House is very well maintained and comfortable. Everything was easy!

Our stay here was perfect from the moment we drove onto the property. The views and location of the property were ideal for us. Far enough outside the village but close enough to conveniently drive in. The house itself was immaculate and had everything we needed and more. Our 13 year old daughter fell in love with the house and really loved the upstairs bedroom she slept in and demanded we stay here again. Wish we could have stayed longer but only had 3 days to visit, next year will try to stay longer if we can. Thank you Carol for a wonderful stay.

Beautifully appointed home in a place of incredible beauty.

We loved this house! It was perfect for our family of 4 (plus our little family dog too!). Each adult child had their own room upstairs, and we had our own suite downstairs. The living area was comfy on the very cold nights when we curled up as a family and watched a movie. Everything was modern, clean and the detailed decorations made it feel very special. Loved it!

We enjoyed a quick trip to Lake Placid and enjoyed a mini-snowstorm while we were there. We go to Lake Placid often and usually stay in a hotel. This time we chose VRBO and it was the right call! Everything about the house was as described, if not better. My kids were happy and so were we! We will definitely stay there again!

This was our second stay at this property and we will definitely keep coming back! Yes, the water has a sulfur smell, like many others in the ADK, but we plan ahead with plenty of bottled water and it is a non issue. The house is spotless, beautifully decorated and has one of the best views you can get. Love it!

Very beautiful cabin will definitely be returning

This is was our second time gathering friends at this property. Everything about the property is cozy and warm. It’s Adirondack theme can be found in every room. You’ll find everything you need for your time there. Just bring a Keurig for pod coffee. A traditional coffee pot is provided. The camp is very clean and well kept. Minutes to Lake Placid mainstreet. Mountain and ski jump views right from the front of the property. We will return again for sure.

This is a great property. We have stayed here the past 2 years and will be booking again. Property owner is easy to communicate with and house is well taken care of. Easy access to Lake Placid and many trailheads.

We stayed here for a week and loved it. Great location. House was beautiful and we loved the view from the porch/ driveway.

My son, nieces and I had a wonderful stay! The house was decorated beautifully, it was very clean and the views were just stunning! Everything about it was perfect!

Just a short drive from a bunch of trail heads and the City of Lake Placid, this was the perfect spot for us. After a long (or short) day of hiking, having a place to sit out on the deck, watch the sunset and relax. Would have worked well to hang out if the weather hadn't been perfect during our stay. Will plan to stay here again in the future.

Had lots of essentials to use (sheets, towels, pots/pans, appliances, etc.) Great views from the deck, got to see several beautiful sunsets. In a great location, on a quiet street, but only about 10 mins to downtown. We happened to be there during a rather hot week in the spring and there was no AC. Other than that, everything was perfect.

First off, Laura has been super helpful in accommodating all our changes of plan over the course of the pandemic. It was wonderful finally to be able to stay at the house. The house is very comfortable and really spacious. It is well decorated in I suppose an Adirondack theme, but especially bears, including one sign that has a hilarious (and true) update on an old saying which I won't repeat here and spoil the surprise. The kitchen is well equipped with good quality tools and is a pleasure to cook in. The view to the west is spectacular and we saw one of the most amazing sunsets over the meadow. All in all a wonderful place to stay, great house, great location. We will definitely return.

We took our kids to Lake Placid for Christmas and had a great time! Carol’s home was amazing. It was not only beautiful, but beautifully decorated for Christmas. It had everything we could ever need and it was spotless. It was so clean and comfortable. Carol is a fantastic host. We’d love to stay again!
