Nestled in Key West, this attractive condo for $223 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. This Studio is a lovely charmer nestled in a 6 unit compound in a residential neighborhood in the center of Old Town Key West. This pet friendly accommodation is the perfect location for exploring Key West. You can walk to the Hemmingway House, the Butterfly Conservatory and stroll Duval St with it's many restaurants, shops, galleries and museums. Come home to a king size bed, full kitchen and everything you need to make your own cocktails and prepare some famous Key West shrimp on the shared grill in the Courtyard. This newly redecorated Studio features a seating area , flat screen TV, king bed and small patio with a table and two chairs. People ask me about parking more than anything and this condo does not come with assigned parking but there are 3 spaces on the street out front available on a first come basis. I provide additioanl tips for finding parking with my instructions but I encourage you to not bring a car into Old Town as it is an historic district and over 100 years ago it was not anticipated that tens of thousands of visitors would come to enjoy it's beauty so there simply is not enough parking in Old Town for all who come and changing that would affect the historical value. A car is not a practical way to tour Old Town because parking is scarce and expensive all over town. Locals have adapted and have taken to bicycles to travel the Town. The City of Key West has implemented a bus service around Old Town called the Duval Loop and it stops a half block from this rental. Should you book this property I strongly recommend you purchase the cancellation insurance offered by VRBO, particularly during hurricane season. Flights are frequently canceled by the airlines and while they may be willing to rebook new flights I do not have the flexibility to give you new dates and you will be expected to pay for the dates you booked. Cancellation insurance will cover this in most cases. There is no pool at this property but there are small beaches all around the island and several are within walking distance of this property; Southernmost Beach would be closest at 6 blocks away. Fort Zachary Taylor State Park has the beach that locals like best, it is a State Park so there is a fee but the facilities are excellent: picnic tables, grills, outdoor shower, indoor shower, change rooms, restaurant, chaise lounges for rent and a water view that is the best in Key West. If you prefer a pool there is an excellent public pool at 300 Catherine St. The MLK Community Pool is an 11 minute walk from the condo and this roof-top, outdoor pool offers excellent sunbathing and views of Key West. There are also hotels that welcome patrons of their restauant to use their pools and I provide info on those locations in the condo. Thank you, Pam MacKenzie

Property was so clean and comfortable. So close to everything but just gar away so its not noisy from tourists. Walked everywhere and to each corner of island from cottage. Perfect location and super clean. Fully stocked too

The cottage was cozy, clean, and quiet. It is set back off the street which helped us not hear street noise, although the street itself is fairly quiet. Staying here right off Duval Street was a great location. We walked everywhere we wanted to go and took the Hop On Hop Off Trolley to see the rest of Key West. We did fine without a car and took the Greyhound round trip from the Miami airport which was a very relaxing way to travel (and very inexpensive). The cottage is less than one mile from where the Greyhound leaves from.

We flew into Key West and Ubered to and from our unit. We were within walking distance to all the main attractions and restaurants. We picked up what food items we needed at CVS, less than a block away. Very comfortable, convenient and an overall great experience.

Very clean, cute outside porch area. It felt large. Enjoyed the full kitchen. Take your own wash cloth for each day. You only get 2 with 4 of the larger towels. Mostly loved the great king bed and location. Minty's has scooters and golf carts a block away from here. Loved my stay.

Condo was located in a quiet, safe area but very walkable to many places. The A/C worked great for cooling off after being out in the hot day. There was plenty of room for the 2 of us. Everything involving our stay was very easy with this condo.

This unit was very close to Duval street & an easy walk or bike ride to most restaurants & bars. We felt safe. The only complaints we had are the floors were dirty, there were ants in the kitchen area.

Easy walking distance to everything with good comms from the host. The place was clean and the mattress on the bed was very comfortable. We have stayed in Key West a number of times and we would recommend and return here.

The property was great and the host was even better. Our introduction to the accommodation and the area was detailed, thorough and very much appreciated. When there was an area water main break, she contacted us and asked if we had water (we did) proactively. A very nice place to stay that met our expectations and a host that exceeded them.

Our first time to Key West and this was the perfect place. Walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Parking is horrible all over KW but we had a friend that lives in KW so we left our car with him… logged a LOT of steps but walked off the food and alcohol! We would stay here again.

Clean, comfortable, and centrally located just a few minutes walk from most attractions and bars/restaurants in Old Town. Just one block off Duval but quiet at night. I would definitely stay here again.

The property was nice and clean. Property manager did not let us know tree trimming was taking place during our stay. First morning there was the sound of chainsaws and limbs falling on the roof. This is once a year and we would have rented elsewhere had we known. Other than that it is a nice rental for a couple.

This was our first time in Key West. Sort of picked this place out of a hat. Turned out to be perfect. Everything we needed. Prime location for excursions, restarants and night life, but also a fairly private and quiet setting. Host was flexible and very responsive to our messages and needs. Would absolutely stay again.

The property was in a great location and there was cute decor. However the unit itself was quite dark and there was no where hang and relax to watch tv or have drinks, besides the bed. If you have to get a hold of the property manager/owner, be prepared! The internet was down on the island when we arrived and the app was not functioning properly so I had to call her to find out the unit number. She was extremely rude and basically hung up on me, telling me she had already messaged me the info but would not listen to the fact I couldn’t get the messages because the app wasn’t working. A couple days into our trip I reach out again and she was a little more friendly but I found that first interaction to be very off putting, being that I am a host myself. Long and short. I think it’s great place for a short trip and it checked a lot of the boxes of what we needed for the trip.
