Silence, beauty and kindness. Three words that perfectly sum up the four wonderful days my partner and I spent at Aliori Art Caves.
The property, beautifully run by Roberto and his wife Dominique, not only lived up to our expectations but exceeded them in every possible way. Its unique architecture, carved into the mountainside, together with the spectacular views over the mountains and Aegiali Bay, make it an exceptional place from which to discover the dramatic beauty of Amorgos.
But what we will remember most is the feeling of peace. The silence and tranquillity at Aliori are almost impossible to describe. The perfect temperature, the attention to every detail and all the comforts make it an extraordinary place to slow down, disconnect, and enjoy deeply restful nights.
And Roberto deserves a special mention. Throughout our stay, he treated us with extraordinary kindness and generosity. He is a sensitive person, passionate about beauty and about the quiet luxury of simple things. His recommendations, advice and thoughtful explanations about the island and the best ways to explore it greatly enriched our journey. Thanks to him, we experienced Amorgos in a deeper and more meaningful way, turning these days into something that, at times, felt almost poetic.
We could not have imagined a better place from which to experience Amorgos. We leave with the feeling that we have discovered something truly special and, above all, with an immense sense of gratitude to Roberto and Dominique.

Omg- we fell in love with Aliori Art Caves
The entire stay was something we will never forget.
Roberto & Dominque have built these villas with so much passion & love
The villas are incredible inside and out
We booked the Artemis Suite complete with a gorgeous outside area & spa pool, beautiful interior with such attention to detail
Each morning we were greeted by Roberto serving us breakfast with home grown produce that Dominque had prepared fresh each day.
By the time we had left we felt like part of their family.
Thank you to you both for your kindness
We absolutely loved our time here and we will be back next year !!

Omg, where to start. For once, if I could, I’d rate 12 out of 10. Roberto and Kyriaki have created a gem. Aliori art caves is more than about art, it’s about the art of life. And this you get to it’s perfection. Roberto is a true soul, a spreader of good vibes. His art caves are unique in design, each one thought through and designed by him, containing years of thoughtful planning. The room is spacious, containing everything you need, from fridge to coffee machine. The breakfast, what shall I say: you eat wirh your eyes. Beautifully arranged, garned with colorful flowers from their garden, prepared with local and organic products. Roberto’s precious recommendations as to where to go, what to see and where to eat like a local were on the spot. If you’re looking for a peaceful haven, this is where to go. This is certainly where we will return to.

What an absolute dream! This place is so stunning, the bed so comfortable, even the sheets were divine! The owners are so sweet and welcoming, generous with their time and knowledge!
I wish I stayed longer, y don’t make my mistake- book longer!!!
