Pleasant, adequate but I would probably opt to stay elsewhere on another visit.

We asked for and received a room high up in the building, away from the busy street side. The hotel is well-located - not too far from the Koruku-en Garden which we visited three times.

We asked the concierge to make a restaurant reservation for us but our request was declined. The hotel’s policy is not to do this, due to potential $$ liability falling back on the hotel if we failed to honour the reservation. This was frustrating as we had no other way to make our own bookings. Further, there was no comfortable lounge-type area in the reception where one might relax. With small rooms, sometimes one prefers to sit in a comfortable and safe space elsewhere in the hotel.

A good base to explore Kanazawa at a reasonable price

Great location, 20 minutes walk from the train station and 20 mins to the old town. The washing machine in the room was a great bonus, especially having been in Japan for 6 days. The room was good value for money and as expected. It was on the small side but I think it was somewhat of a standard size in Japanese standards. No complaints there.

Staff could have been a bit friendlier. Comparing to the reception staff at our hotel in Tokyo, they weren't overly friendly or accommodating. They weren't rude and perhaps there may have been a language barrier. I can't pick out too many other bad things, as the hotel was pretty much as described.

very good location, and new hotel

no parking facilities or even drop off zone in the hotel. We need to park the car by the main road to drop off our luggages

Très bien

Hôtel très bien placé à 20 min de la gare et proche des principales attractions de la ville. Chambre propre et personnel accueillant. Le petit déjeuner était bon.

Great option for Kanazawa

A washer and dryer in the room! Also, it’s close to the main points of interest so that helps. Getting to the railway station is easy as well - both on foot and by bus.

there are better options in Kanazawa for sure

Very good location to explore Kanazawa. They offer coffee as a courtesy during the whole day in the reception. That's it.

The room, specially the bathroom, was very dirty. For me, it's obvious the bathroom was simply not cleaned before our check-in. There was hair from other people in the bathtub and in the sink, and the toilet was very dirty. They also don't include any drinks on the minibar, not even water. I had to go to the reception to buy it in my pijamas. We asked for the reception to help with a restaurant reservation when we cheked in, and they said they are not allowed to assist with that. It didn't seem we were in a hotel, the feeling was we were in a bad air bnb experience.

開業したてのホテルはいいね。

お風呂が広くて快適でした。ベッドの寝心地が良かった。疲れが取れた。

クローゼットがないので、冬のダウンコートを2着かけると入口付近が洋服であふれるようでストレスを感じた。ハンガーも足りない。

We enjoyed our stay despite the taxi problem and walking in the rain ☔️

Beds are sooo comfortable - not too soft and supportive. Rooms are clean and facilities good. Staff are nice.

Breakfast has minimal options and didn’t look great for a buffet. The most difficult thing was that the Hotel Staff WOULD NOT (could not because of a road rule..) CALL US A TAXI. Because we can’t speak Japanese we could not also we needed a bigger taxi due to luggage. And it was raining. Anyone Japanese staying I could see just called a taxi themselves to the hotel..

Modern hotel with decent size room, location great

Bright, light and spacious room. Location convenient for sightseeing. Bus stop adjacent to hotel made it easy to get to train station. Numerous restaurants, coffee shops and convenience shops.

Great value for money. Modern hotel and big room for the Japanese standard.

I asked for a glass/bottle of water and it was not possible to get it even if the water was in front of me but technically the restaurant was closed… after many complaints I had to get the water in the store at 5 mins by walking: no sense

Price and close to main attraction. Supermarket next to the hotel. Station 10 minutes walk!

Breakfast. I understand that is Japanese breakfast. But will be nice if they have a few options for some people.

Superb

We enjoyed the beautiful setting in the Iya Valley and the spacious family room. The traditional dinner (at additional charge) was delicious and good value. Access to the onsen was also a bonus for the stay. Overall a great experience.

we order 2 rooms one for us and one for our teenagers, and they put us not in the same floor. and when we asked for another key ‘cause the elevator can’t connect to another floor goes only your floor or lobby, they refused.

Very impressed

This hotel is luxury for the price. It was excellent. It’s only 3 stops on the bus from the station and free if you have a JR Pass and catch the JR bus. There are other buses from the station but you need an IC card. It’s a bit too far to walk. We chose this hotel as it was right near the Omicho market, Kanazawa castle, gardens etc. The rooms were quite large with a small seating area with a table. Very comfortable and the best hotel we experienced for our 3 week stay through Japan. Family Mart and 7 Eleven just down the road as well as a new Tourist Info office which has English speaking if that’s what you need. The cafe downstairs is great for relaxing. We didn’t bother with the breakfast option. An absolute bonus having a washing machine and dryer in the room. It was superb and a godsend! A fabulous place to stay which we found quite luxurious. I’m not sure if all Tokyu Stay hotels are at this level but this was impressive.

Great staff, spacious room, a great environment overall for a relaxing quiet stay.

Breakfast was amazing and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The location was very close to a bus stop and next to a beautiful shrine.

There was nothing that I did not like about our stay here!

This hotel is clean and comfortable but I don't recommend it for US tourists visiting Japan

This hotel was clean and the in-room laundry facilities were convenient.

We are a family of four from the US on a two-week trip to Japan. This is the only hotel we rated poorly. The staff was not friendly to us. It was pouring down rain so I requested the front desk call a taxi for us, and they said their policy was no. We didn't have a Japanese phone number to call ourselves, plus the language barrier, but they refused to help. Then, I requested their help to call the tour guide to confirm plans, and they would not make the phone call. I don't recommend this hotel if you expect to need any services from the staff.

Very good

The room we stayed at has washer/dryer machine with kitchenette, good for long stay. It is walking distance from Kanazawa Castle and omicho market.

No taxi stand and hotel does not allow staffs to call taxi. It is a bit far to walk to Kanazawa Station.

Close to bus stations, and centrally located. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are large, comfy and the washing machine is a big plus!! Very clean
