The location is quite good. The market a short want one direction, the (excellent) museums, shopping, and nightlife a short walk the other.
This is a very corporate property, catering to large tour groups, and perhaps the occasional business person. The staff, most especially in the restaurant seemed very focused on efficiency and the rules they had set - for themselves and the guests - and even simple things like bringing a small bowl of fruit up to my wife in the room (because she was feeling poorly) were a big problem. The food was very average by Japanese standards (the 7-11, or Lawson’s even better) and the communication with the staff challenged (of course language barriers are understandable, but in the age of AI and translation apps, there is really no excuse for poor signage or written comms).
