The vegetation, the green everywhere, the trees and bushes, the vicinity to water, the variety of activities and food, the terrace of the bungalows, the fact that you can sunbathe while having the beds on the grass (not sand) and next to the pools. Well maintained, clean (and no mosquitoes despite we were there in the middle of August). Also enjoyed the private jacuzzi outside, the big windows and the very tasty and generous breakfast. On top, every evening there was live music at all restaurants and the musicians were changing every 20 min with different genres. We enjoyed so much that we even danced a “hora”. Totally recommend this location for big groups of friends and family. If you are just a couple, maybe you can make friends :)
The pillows are really thick and hard. Asked for softer ones and the sleep was better. So if you know you sleep on a soft or thinner pillow ask for it (or bring it yourself). Also none of the pillows are 100% of feather or down (so maybe good for the ones allergic to feathers, but for the rest, not having proper down pillows for a 5 stars location is a bit of a let down). The duvet is super big so no worries about that if you share the bed with your partner. The mattress is ok.

New, clean, great location in the middle of the Danube delta, good food and entertainment.
The room had a non-working AC unit. Upon arrival, we discussed the issue and were told it needed some maintenance and would be fixed the next day. However, this did not happen, and no follow-up or explanation was provided.
Due to the indoor heat and stagnant air, we had to leave the window partially open for the first two nights, which resulted in catching a cold. To our surprise, the resort did not keep any basic over-the-counter medicine on-site. I incurred a significant expense to travel across the river to the neighboring village to look for cold medicine, only to discover that the local store does not carry medication and there is no pharmacy nearby.
I find this deeply concerning. It raises serious questions about the resort's protocols for handling true medical emergencies, such as a guest experiencing a severe health crisis, given the complete lack of basic medication and preparedness.
