Officina Rooms

Initially, I was a bit sceptical on booking outside of central como, but it ended up being one of the best decisions we made. The room was lovely, clean and bigger than expected. Check in was extremely easy, with a keyless check in. Having the free parking in a private and covered garage was very useful, especially when we wanted to drive around como and not pay ridiculous parking! There is also a supermarket nearby, for snacks as well as proper groceries. The biggest surprise was being able to take a little ferry closeby to the como center, a 10 min walk from the hotel and a 10 minute ferry ride. It was a lot of fun, and gave us great views of the lake without doing a full lake tour! It cost around €2.50 (card only), and then we could take a local bus back in the evening. The last thing I would recommend is ordering a crema al caffe from the bar downstairs in the morning, a sweet but strong coffee for the hot mornings.

The parking garage is a little difficult to locate, but it is just past the fuel station on the right.

The cleanliness, the decor and the views are just amazing. Special thanks to Georgia for making our stay comfortable.
