Nestled in Blackheath, this attractive house for $116 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Wildberg, a cedar Swiss-style 2-storey, self-contained house on 1,700 square metres, features a tranquil bush outlook. Chill out for just a couple of days or for a longer spell. The house has 4 bedrooms (two with queen beds, one with 2 king single beds, one with 2 single beds, all with electric blankets) and 2 bathrooms. A sofa bed, trundle bed and camp bed are also available. It provides the perfect getaway for couples, families and groups of friends. The slow wood combustion fire (a bag of firewood is provided) and natural gas heating creates a cosy and comfortable atmosphere. Choose to relax on one of the two north-east facing decks with outdoor settings where you can enjoy a BBQ, engage in some bird watching, admire the evening stars or savour the stillness of the native bush. Linen and towels are supplied - the beds are made before your arrival, and the kitchen and laundry are both fully equipped with new appliances. An elegant large, extendable solid oak dining table seats 12 people and the lower floor features a spacious entertaining area with kitchenette. A pool table, digital HDTV and DVD and CD players are also available. The buzz of the Blackheath village and the train station are just 15 minutes walk away from Wildberg. Nature lovers can enjoy a number of bushwalks close at hand which offer some spectacular views

What a wonderful house to celebrate my birthday weekend. Pool table, games, books, fireplace, gorgeous bush outlook, well equipped in every sense. Definitely recommend and hope to return again.

Quiet location, nice view into small valley. Relaxed and visited local shops and had High Tea at Bygone Beauties. Great weekend.

It was a lovely house, with large family and kitchen area. Beautiful outlook onto a gumtree gully.
Just two little niggles which didnt really spoil the holiday but will mention. House smelt quite musty on arrival and the kitchen was so well stocked with pots/pans/tablecloths/glassware etc there wasn't a spare cupboard or shelf to put any of our food away anywhere!

Loved our stay in wildberg. It had a lot of stuff to keep various age groups entertained. Clear instructions on where everything is. Had all the required blankets and heaters and everything was well arranged. Would love to come back again

Great spot in a surprisingly upbeat little town. Great facilities with access to the Great Western Highway close by. Made getting in and out easy. The house was clean with a nostalgic feel to it. Great place to stay and would recommend staying here to anyone else.

We enjoyed playing at Blackheath but it was freezing.
Wildberg was a haven from the bitter winds and 2 degrees temp.

Great location, comfy beds, fire place roaring, abundant utensils supplied in the kitchen, pool table a joy, very clean and roomy, highly recommend for all ages to stay! Only downfall, there are no fly screens on the windows but overall, awesome weekend had by all.

It was cold the weekend we visited so super glad the gas heater worked well! And the electric blankets got a workout too :) We lit the fire one night which gave a lovely ambiance. The house is located quite close to the Blackheath shops which was super convenient. It was a lovely stay.

A group of us stayed during the Ultra Trail Australia race weekend. The property was as described, and was a quiet spot to relax before and after our racing. The property was warm and inviting with gas and wood heating, and there was plenty of space to spread out and relax.
