Loved Vistamar and El Cotillo. Definitely want to return.

Amazing location. Amazing views and loved watching the sunset from the terrace. Very comfortable bed which was made more special by going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the sea. Spacious property, liked the decor, very clean and catered for our needs. Great communication with Owner.

nice location but in need of renovation

excellent views and great central location

the property is in need of renovation. the shower leaks through the ceiling below, blinds are missing, the toilet flush is faulty and runs water for hours on end. the induction hob is very hard to use and the electricity kept going off. it’s an old property and needs some TLC

WiFi available only on the ground floor Socket over sink falling out of the wall Historic damp has caused some fixtures and fittings to rust or come away from walls, eg cupboard hinges, wood in bedroom, skirtings Water tank, pump and washing machine not screened off on balcony Only two sunbeds No effective blinds in bedroom facing the sea Minimal crockery and kitchenware - ok for two but a large group would struggle That others have referred to these issues in reviews but no action has been taken With a little more care and attention this property could be so much better

Good

the location, view and beds were all superb, the hosts were helpful and provided good information, the apartment itself was over three floors with an amazing roof terrace and spectacular views from all rooms, there was a downstairs shower which was nice and a comfy sofa and large dining table

the facilities in the apartment were poor, the kitchen especially didn't have enough plugs or utensils, poor quality toaster, plates kettle etc, its the little touches that make a property and its a shame this property didn't have these given that its a high quality place, an adequate corkscrew, a coffee maker, not enough pans that worked on the induction hob, no batteries in the tv remote only 2 sun beds on the roof, theses issues could be rectified with minimal cost and make this property perfect!

Stunning view

The location is great- in the middle of the center of El Cottillo and first row at the sea. We loved the terrace on the roof top for sunbathing. The kitchen is welk equipped and we really enjoyed the great view over the sea. Check-in and Check-out was easy and worked well.

The beds were not so comfortable. Parts of the furniture were a little shabby.

Terrace with the best view

Location was excellent, great terrace from which you can enjoy the sunset. The house is well equipped and clean

There are some facilities that are worn out (bathroom equipment, kitchen’s window).

Charming house with exceptional sea views.

The view from the roof terrace and front bedroom was amazing. Our bed room was large with plenty of storage and the big bed was very comfortable. The ceilings were much higher than expected considering this was a conversion of an old house. We liked the decor especially the polished concrete floors, stair tiles and unusual hanging lights. We felt we had the best house available in the old harbour with excellent restaurants just a minute away.

We couldn’t make the induction hob work and couldn’t find any instructions. We would have liked a blind or curtain over the kitchen window for the evenings. Not all the windows in our bedroom opened and one in another bedroom wouldn’t shut. The lights tripped off a lot at first and we traced this to the stairwell lights. Two chairs were positioned in our bedroom to admire the view but if you sat in them you were too low to see anything at all.

Memorable stay!

We had an excellent stay. The location is amazing, it's literally next to the sea. Great rooftop terrace with the best sunset view. Don't forget to bring earplugs if you're used to sleep with the bedroom window open, as the sea is so close. El Cotillo is a small laidback town which we loved. We will definitely come back.

Not the most comfortable bed in my opinion.
