About this cottage rental
This former Fisherman’s Cottage is now a charming, modern, flint cottage boasting stunning sea views from upstairs. Full of character with original, low beams and sloping ceiling in the double bedroom it is centrally located in the heart of bustling Sheringham, just a few steps from the beach and promenade yet within easy walking distance of the train station.
Ground floor: Front door opening into open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen: with 42” HDTV with Free View and DVD player, comfortable seating and dining table, flowing into the Kitchen: gas hob with electric oven, microwave oven and fridge with freezer compartment, back door. Traditional staircase leading to first floor landing.
First floor: Bedroom: with twin beds. Family bathroom: walk in shower, WC, pedestal hand basin. Stairs to second floor.
Second floor: Stairs lead directly into Double bedroom with stunning sea views, low, vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and 32” HDTV with Free View.
Please note: Wi-Fi. Location: beach 96 yards, local amenities 34 yards. Situated between Lifeboat Plain and High Street, close to the Lobster Inn and public carpark. Staircases are slightly steeper than usual. Low head height in double bedroom. No parking at property. 4pm arrival time. 2 x dogs welcome at £20.00 per dog, per week. Linen provide, please bring your own towels.

The cottage was overall lovely. I did find that the remote controls were filthy & had to disinfect them myself. The seating was very uncomfortable & very well worn but that i felt was understandable as dogs are welcome & therefore furniture does get well used. The parking was not available when we arrived about 6ish. Also the key safe was very difficult to open & while you are inside the cottage the front & back door have to be locked with keys as anyone can walk in i felt this was dangerous from a fire point of view. The shower is fantastic with very good pressure & lots of lovely hot water. The whole cottage is well stocked with everything you might need to cook & have a happy holiday. I bought the issues I had to the notice of both the company who advertises the cottage & the owner especially the 2 staircases having very narrow staris at the top & suggested grab rails to help when carrying things up & down. The company replied with a detailed & kind reply stating what they would be doing with every item I bought to their attention but I had complete silence from the owner.

Great cottage right next to sea and in heart of Sheringham. Loved downstairs but perhaps not the sofa bed it wasn’t comfortable for sitting. The stairs I expected from other reviews but it did put us off from using the double bed on top floor. The cottage had been very well renovated with good quality items. Great views. And a car park right next door that you can but a 7 week parking ticket which was so convenient!! The only thing I think was missing was more mirrors especially a full length one so you could check yourself b4 going out. You could put this in the middle floor bedroom back of the wardrobe door there other than the mirror on top floor bedroom which again was just to see your face the other was in bathroom which again could only see face. Also perhaps a bit of info on how to use TV. Other than that a great cottage just in right place and would book again. Oh and the week was there it was freezing but the cottage was lovely and warm! Great and thanks to Hilary for such a lovely cottage x

A pleasure to stay for a week. So close to all amenities. Clean and bright. Could have done with another week
