Das Hotel liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Bahnhof, was natürlich den (Güter-)Zugverkehr hören lies. Aber das war nicht schlafstörend. Diese Lage des Hotels war für uns sogar ideal, weil wir "gestrandete" Zugpassagiere waren, die mit der Bahn nicht mehr weiter kamen. Wir entschlossen uns darauf hin, kurzfristig dort zu übernachten und am nächsten Morgen in aller Frühe aufzubrechen und weiter zu reisen. Wie haben sehr gut geschlafen. Und - das Ambiente machte dem Namen alle Ehre. Den "Eulenspiegel" werden wir in jedem Fall weiter empfehlen. : - )

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, Fahrräder konnten wir im Hotel abstellen, die Zimmer waren OK.

Unusual Hotel, extensively decorated around a theme. Location is good beside the train station, but the trains were loud at night so I had to close the windows. Also in the centre of the downtown area which is good. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Unusual animals just outside the reception.
I had a budget room, but there was next to nothing in it. Just the bed, pillow and duvet, and one small bottle of shampoo, and a soap. There wasn’t even a cup to drink water from. I thought it was overpriced for what you’ve got.
