Situated in Carolina Beach, this lovely house for $500 per night is a great option for your next vacation. *Sol Shine* You will love the look and feel of this beautiful home! It is the kind of ocean front home you've dreamed about renting at the beach. Come and enjoy what we have to offer and you'll want to return year after year. A beautiful sandy beach is just a few steps away with your own private beach access! If you're an early bird you can enjoy your coffee on the seaside deck and watch the sunrise over the Atlantic. With large sliding glass doors all across the ocean side of the home spanning both the kitchen and living room, you'll have a great view of the waves. The living room has plenty of seating and a large flat screen Smart TV and cable. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you'll need - just bring your food. The dining room seats six and the large kitchen island seats four. The primary bedroom has a brand-new queen mattress and box spring and a flat screen Smart TV. The second bedroom also has a brand-new queen mattress and box spring and a Smart TV. The third bedroom has two sets of bunk beds and a large dresser. Downstairs is a separate living area with a living room, kitchenette, bedroom, and full bath. It can be accessed by an internal staircase or from the outside. The living room has a large wall mounted smart TV, and a new pull out queen size sleeper sofa. The kitchenette has an island, coffee maker, small fridge, and microwave. The bedroom has a queen size bed and the full bath has a stall shower. There are sliders out onto the ground floor patio where a charcoal grill is located. We have a washer and dryer for your convenience located in the garage. Sol Shine has a one car garage and parking for up to four cars. Walk directly from your deck to the beach on your own private beach walkway with outdoor shower! We hire only the best cleaners and stock a good supply of household items so you don't have to worry about anything when you arrive. Come to the beach and relax at Sol Shine! We are a 2-minute walk the Tiki Bar and Ocean Grill restaurant. Enjoy their live bands during the summer, tropical drinks and delicious seafood all year long. We are only a short distance to the Carolina Beach boardwalk, Britt's Donuts, Fentoni's Pizza, and the summer carnival rides and fireworks! Check in is 4:00PM and check out is by 10:00AM This is a no smoking property. You must be at last 25 years old to enter into a rental contract We provide the sheets, bath towels, pillows, bedspreads, and blankets. Everything about this house was just right for our group of 5. The only complaints we had were that the lock box for the key was a bit difficult to open and the showers are really small. But location was perfect and overall property was very nice. Would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed our time at this great location on Carolina Beach. Beautiful ocean views and close to a variety of restaurants, bars, etc. Location was close for a short drive to the NC Aquarium and a ferry ride to Southport, which made for a great day. House was comfy and we appreciated the private walkway to the beach to take our fur babies for daily strolls. Had a great view from the back deck for the New Year fireworks display at Kure Beach! Hope to return again soon -- had a great time at Sol Shine!

This rental is exactly what was promised. Every aspect of the house is guest friendly. And we so appreciate that the owners allow us to bring dogs. We had a wonderful time on the back deck,the beach and visiting the surrounding areas. We had a few questions and David, the property manager, got back to us quickly. Our family of 6 had a great time here! Great view and convenient location to so many restaurants in the area. Easy check in process - check in prior to 4 would have been ideal. House was very clean upon arrival and so many amenities provided. Only issue was a piece of plastic was left in the oven for some reason and really stunk up the house when we went to cook dinner. Overall an amazing stay!!

The view from living room is fabulous. The living room could stand updated furniture. The kitchen was updated nicely with granite countertops and white cabinets and shelf’s. Bedrooms are on the small side and the bathrooms are even smaller than expected. Very hard for even a small person to take shower in hall bathe. If you are not up to climbing steps this is not the rental for you. The steps going from main level to lower level on inside are the spiral kind No going up and down those especially with any luggage. Nice that it had a garage to keep your car out of the weather. That was a plus. For the price you pay it could have had matching high quality towels and wash clothes. We seemed to get the mix matched leftovers. Also for the price you pay it could have more than one extra bag for the kitchen trash and recycles It should also have had extra trash can bags for bedrooms. We ended up using grocery bags. It would be good if they relocated the outside trash cans because the gnats and bugs it create came right into the house when door opens. They need to make sure to dust mop under the beds and furniture because there was dust and some dead bugs. Also need to dust ceiling fans. Having a washer and dryer was a plus. The walkway leading out to the beach was nice. Management was right on the ball when items that needed fixing were called in. Some were going to have to be scheduled to fix but what they could do they did. Other renters had called In some of the same issues but I was told it would have to be scheduled when not being rented.

We had a great week at Sol Shine - a very clean, well-maintained, updated oceanfront beach house with lots of space for our family of nine (seven humans, two dogs.) Fantastic ocean view from the large front deck, easy access to beach from house's walkway. Large, well-equipped kitchen, new washer and dryer. Short walk to the Ocean Grill& Tiki Bar, Veggie Wagon and other eateries. The only downside is the narrow spiral, staircase connecting the upstairs and downstairs, and close proximity to the house next door whose occupants blasted Lynyrd Skynyrd all hours of the night during our stay.

Our family loved our stay at this beach house. You can't beat the location - it has direct access to the beach, has several good restaurants across the street, and is within walking distance from the Carolina Beach boardwalk. We also appreciated the thoughtfulness in making it safe for smaller kids - it's not babyproof but incredibly safe for our curious toddler. Oh, and the Internet was blazingly fast. I had to work on vacation and had no issues using a virtual machine through my laptop, which is rarely possible on hotel or typical Airbnb WiFi.

Enjoyed it very much...with the the exception of mother nature this week. We did have a couple good days...house was awesome...private access was great...dogs loved it as well...perfect week for a lot of back porch sitting...Fantastic views...we will return. Checkin process was seamless...directions to access everything was great. Could use a bigger grill!...That would be my only suggestion. Thumbs up!! Don't hesitate if you are looking for a nice place to stay...it won't last!!!

No problems or surprises at all. From photos, was a little concerned living space and dining table would be too small, but everyone was able to gather in den comfortably and we barely used the dining table since the was so much seating on decks and bar stools. Also appreciate all the starter paper goods .

Beautiful ocean front house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only reason for the one 4-star was that I felt during the off-season a fresh coat of paint and some very minor upgrades could have been completed. But that won't stop me from returning!

I have been renting homes in Carolina Beach for years and this was our favorite! It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We made most meals in the well appointed kitchen and loved having the beach only steps away. We traveled with 4 adults, 2 teens, 2 kids and 2 dogs, and the layout of the house was ideal. We gave my teen nephews the downstairs apartment and they could not have been happier. We will definitely be staying at Sol-Shine again!

We needed a place along the NC coast to converge family members from all along the East coast. We had a birthday celebration and this place turned out to be perfect place!
The view from the main floor is stunning and pictures don’t do it justice. I loved that the house was well stocked for entertaining. Lots of serving platters and a big island for cooking. Easy and private beach access.
We would love to return. Thanks for making it an easy in and out.

The location is excellent. Right on the beach with your own boardwalk to the beach. Sun rises are breath taking!
The biggest disappointment was the lack of a working dishwasher. Also disappointing was the lack of supplies; soap, shampoo, paper towels, paper plates, fish liquid, etc.
The property manager told us about the dishwasher right before we arrived. They supplied us with some paper plates and plastic silverware but it was not enough to last for our stay. We had to buy more paper plates, toilet paper and paper towels. Also in the kitchen there was only one dish towel for a whole week and no dish cloths.
We had our Thanksgiving dinner and ate on paper plates. Not what we planned on. All week we used real silverware, glasses, bowls, pots and pans, utensils, etc. With 9 people, we were constantly washing dishes, which was a bummer. And we didn’t feel like the dishes were properly sanitized. There was only one bottle of dish liquid that was barely enough to get us through the week. And using a sponge to wash glasses and silverware was not very sanitary.
Overall we made it work and we had fun family time. But for what we paid for the week, we felt the property could have had more supplies. No soap in the showers was surprising to all of us. As well as the lack of enough toilet paper.
Hopefully this helps you to better prepare for future guests.

Our family had a wonderful time at Sol Shine! The property was clean and spacious and the back deck was awesome with a private walk way to the beach. The kitchen appeared to be well stocked with dishes/pots etc however we dined out most nights. Several restaurants within walking distance and there was a lovely guide with things to do. Our Thanks to A1 Property Management for making our visit enjoyable. They responded to our questions almost immediately and we’re delightful to work with. We would definitely stay again and recommend the property.

We had a very pleasant day. House was very nice. Only downside was the spiral staircase that leads from the main floor to the basement where you have the bedroom and living area. Wish it was easier access to that area. You feel separated from the rest of the house when you’re there

That made the fantastic ocean view even better with the large sets of double glass sliding doors across the entire upper back of home! Also, the addition of the large built in shelves next to dining room gave us plenty of room for all of our food items!

This was our second year renting Sol Shine. It is the best beach house we’ve rented in our 4 years of vacationing in Carolina Beach. The house is very clean, well stocked, and well maintained. The beds were all made when we checked in. It is in a perfect location and large enough to comfortably fit our family of 6 with two children. We are looking forward to our 2022 visit to Sol Shine. A1 Management is great to deal with from the time you make a reservation to checkout. We had two minor maintenance issues and they were extremely responsive. Thank you all for a fantastic 2021 beach vacation.

Location was outstanding! Beautiful house with beautiful view. If we were to go back, will definitely not overpack. Everything was pretty much there. If not, the grocery store was a short drive away.
