About this house rental
Located in Indian River, this lovely house for $218 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Secluded 2 bedroom, 2 bath beach cottage with private ocean beach access and nestled among the oaks in Summerplace, located on peaceful Orchid Island. A short block and a half walk (8 houses) along a seashell road to private deeded beach access. In close proximity to historic Jungle Trail, Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge, Vero Beach shopping and dining district and Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. The area offers excellent surfing, kayaking, and fishing all around. Fully remodeled, 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage with wood floors throughout and pecky cypress walls and ceilings. Outdoor living areas include 2 covered porches and a large open back deck. Large master bedroom with private bathroom, walk in closet, and a king size bed. Second bedroom features a queen size bed and private bathroom. There are two full size sofa beds located in the living room and family room. The dining room features a large, custom built-in banquette that seats up to 10 people. The new open floor plan kitchen overlooks the Family room, which includes a seating area surrounding the fireplace. Living room hosts comfortable seating around a 50” wall mounted flat screen TV. Outdoor shower.

We love the location and being able to walk to the beach! Cottage was everything we hoped for - clean, spacious, and fully equipped.

This place was much more than expected. It was spacious enough for our family of 5 (3 teenagers), with room to spare. The drive up to the property from the road was like something out of a movie. The decor of the house was so great and had little surprises all over. The owners had everything we needed and some things we didn’t know we needed. Games, internet, smart tv’s, laundry and fully stocked kitchen are just some of the amazing things these owners provided. Just a short walk to the private beach access where we had the beach to ourselves. We will certainly be back and so sad we couldn’t stay longer. Highly recommend!

This cozy and spacious 2 bedroom beach cottage was the only place I have rented in Florida that my husband and I would love to come back to over and over. The location is superb! We slept so well in the comfy king bed. There is so much to see and do in laid back Vero Beach. Our morning walks to see the sunrise and collect shells as we walked along the shore were perfect and uplifting to our souls. We needed to slow down and enjoy what God has made. We stayed nine nights and we were sad to say goodbye for now. Thank you for having us! The cottage had everything we needed and more.

The owner was very responsive. Summerplace was clean, cozy, and makes for the perfect get away vacation spot! We enjoyed the front porch and the short walk to the private beach access. We couldn’t have asked for anything better! We truly enjoyed our getaway at Summerplace!

We had a great time staying at this quaint bungalow. It was the perfect size for our family. Just a short walk to the beach with private access. The mosquitos at the house were a bit much even with bug spray. The area was quiet and relaxing with just a short drive to areas with more activity. We would definitely stay here again.

The Beach House felt like home the minute we pulled in the driveway. The inside was inviting and well laid out. It had every amenity you could want and everything was easy to find. We only used the master bedroom and the bed was super comfy. So many wonderful beaches to explore including the we walked to each morning for beautiful sunrises and morning walks. Jason and Rachel were very responsive and generous. We highly recommend staying at the Beach House whether its a romantic getaway or a family vacation. It is perfect for both. We will be back for sure.

My wife and I and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Sebastian Beach House. As a native and resident of Naples, FL, it is nice to get away and see other locales. We found Wabasso Beach to be a very nice place to land as FL natives. This time of year was great, the beach was sparsely populated. We meet many nice folks on the beach while taking in the beauty. Jason & Rachel were great hosts. We treated their property as if it was our own. Truly and Florida destination. We loved the property.

This is such a cool property. Everything you need for a relaxing week is included in this beautifully vintage home. The private beach is a short walk away (we had the beach to ourselves 80% of the time we were there). The weather was absolutely perfect. The owner was very responsive. All in all a fantastic vacation. Highly recommend.

It was in a quiet area, short walk to the beach, friendly neighbors, variety of beach accessories and carts to transport to the beach, close to a number of wildlife preserves. We very much enjoyed our stay. The house was in good repair, had a variety of pots and pans, nice outside sitting areas. Could use some drawers in the 2nd bedroom.

So happy to have found this gem on Orchid Island. Front porch swing and rocking chairs were perfect for greeting friendly neighbors, back deck and fire pit provided private sanctuary for al fresco dining and evening chats. House was well equipped and well-supplied with essentials. Close to beach, restaurants, and wildlife refuge areas. Great location; lovely trees and shrubbery all around. Highly recommended!

Not the fault of the property owner at all, just how it goes in FL! We were in town for a wedding and this was a perfect location for us to do the wedding activities and still get down to the beach for a bit. It's a quick easy walk to the private beach access and the beach itself is so lovely, but do be aware that there are steep stairs to actually get down to the beach.
If you are looking for a casual comfortable beach getaway, this place is terrific!

The location was close enough to shopping and restaurants, but far enough away from traffic. An easy few minutes away by bicycle takes you to The Jungle Trail. Follow this North, and it will take you to Pelican Island.
