In the high-quality renovation, attention was paid to good materials. The decor and decoration were carried out with great taste and attention to detail. The house consists of four floors. On the ground floor is the entrance hall, the Salle à Manger (dining room) and the adjoining kitchen, which is very well equipped (Smeg refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher, gas stove, oven etc.). A highlight is the rear rock wall, which gives the kitchen a very special flair and also offers a natural cooling in summer. One floor above it is the living room with fireplace (with TV, some international channels) with access to the balcony, as well as a bathroom with two sinks, bathtub with rainshower and washing machine. Again one floor above is a bedroom and at the top the master bedroom with fireplace and open roof beams, private bathroom (free-standing bath). The house has central heating and is thus available year-round. The fireplaces must not be fired.
The plot of the town house is bounded on the back by an impressive limestone cliff, in which the small pool (basin de refraîchement) is embedded. The patio is bordered on the right and left by walls, planted with roses and hydrangeas, providing an oasis of tranquility in the middle of the town. Thanks to the old almond tree, the patio offers a shady seating area, furnished with tasteful garden furniture - a wonderful meeting place for meals together. In the evening, the pool and the terrace can be enchantingly illuminated. From the top floor of the house you have a wonderful view over the landscape.
Danger. Due to the large number of stairs, the house is not suitable for children from the crawl age up to 4 years. Accordingly, no special equipment for children is provided.

Lovely home and small village. Only concern was the never ending Church bells all night. Very disturbing for sleep.

Amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazzzxzzzzzzzzzzing accommodation in Saint Saturnin, which away from the busy tourist towns in Provence. The host and their assistants were great to communicate with and the bonus was the plunge pool in the back courtyard during some hot summer days.

We loved this place. Several very good restaurants within walking distance as well as plenty of short day trips to other lovely villages in the Luberon available. There are four levels in the house so not a good place for people who have trouble navigating stairs.

The house is very comfortable, located in the heart of town, next to a beautiful church. Walking distance to all of the sights in Saint Saturnin les Apt, and quick driving distance to several other towns in the area.
