This historic home is right in the heart of Willamette Valley wine country and 2 blocks from beautiful downtown Carlton. Here we have all the touches of a luxury hotel with the comforts of home in a location that you truly cannot beat. Our mission is to offer high-quality hospitality to Willamette Valley tourists while coordinating with the best local partners to maximize guest experiences with our customizable concierge services, and hand-selected amenities. We specialize in luxury, short-term lodging options with the highest standards of cleanliness and attention to detail so that you feel right at home during your vacation. Use our private wine tour service to experience the beauty and unique culture in Oregon’s world-renowned wine country, where every visitor walks away with lifetime memories. At Ruth's Cottage, enjoy breakfast in the fully-stocked, remodeled kitchen. Kick back and relax in the open living space with hardwood floors, a personal piano, and a record player! Live it up on the back patio and have an outdoor barbeque in the summer evenings. You won't want to miss out on making those craft cocktails. Enjoy a soothing bath in the claw foot tub, and retreat to bed with luxurious bedding. You'll feel like you've stepped back in time at Ruth's Cottage. The attention to detail when designing this rental makes it a truly special spot to serve as home while exploring Oregon's Wine Country. Ruth's Cottage offers a large queen bedroom with a vintage four-poster bed and a private en-suite bathroom. The home's TV lounge room offers a Roku streaming device and an attached half bathroom. An additional double sofa sleeper is available to host up to two more guests. Best for children or one adult. When the Cottage is booked for four guests, we make up the sofa bed and provide additional towels, and amenities for all to enjoy. The Cottage comes equipped with a washer and dryer that is available for guest use. We welcome guests traveling with up to two small dogs. The extremely private backyard is a lovely space to retreat to on those warm summer evenings. Now offering a new Weber propane BBQ and patio set in the summer of 2021! Family items (baby gate, high chair, pack 'n play), yoga mats, air mattresses, and outdoor games (bocce ball, croquet) are available to rent upon request. Due to existing damage to the garage door, we are asking that guests do not try to access the garage.

Within walking distance of the quaint Main Street in Carlton, this home served as the epicenter for our winery experiences across the Willamette Valley. If you are a couple that loves antiques, clawed footed cast iron bathtubs, wood floors, and a beautiful yard, this place is for you. It is well-appointed, clean, and roomy. Would definitely stay here again!

The cottage was delightful, nicely appointed with a very welcoming atmosphere. It was a wonderful mixture of modern and antique with quirky art and fixtures. The location couldn't be better after a day of wine tasting and within walking distance of dinner. We would definitely stay here again.

Our visit was solely to visit friends as we previously lived in Carlton. This is the perfect location for any visitor! We were right downtown with easy access to the main drag, good food, shopping and the park. This property was comfortable, provided plenty of space for all of us, and was well maintained. It was updated in the kitchen but the charm of the cottage was left throughout the remainder of the house. The beautiful high ceilings kept things cool, light and airy. The beautiful old oak tree that provided its shade to the house was an additional bonus. It was a laid back, peaceful weekend, right up my alley.
