Close walk to see sound side views yet located on Oceanside with a private beach private road setting. Short direct walk to beach. You can see the entry to the beach from our driveway. Enjoy our home (A Stone Throw)! In 2021, new granite countertops in the kitchen and 4 bathrooms with new sinks and faucets. Also new sofa, 2 loveseats, 1 chair upstairs level. New front steps. In 2020, new 80-gallon hot water heater, new king mattress, and topper. In 2019, new queen mattress ; new mattress topper. In 2018, new hammock deck furniture. In 2017, new carpets through home, new appliances ( washer, dryer, refrigerator, microwave), new tiled kitchen and bathroom floors, new bathroom lights above mirrors, etc... Each year, updates and changes provided to keep home looking amazing!!! Parking for 3 to 5 vehicles depending on the size of vehicles. There is plenty of room... Our home sleeps 12-15 people comfortably with 2 king, 3 queen, 1 bunk, 1 twin beds and 1 queen sleep sofa. 3 rooms are master rooms (offering a private bathroom setting). Home is approximately 2400 sq ft. Pool on site. Hot tub on site and sits 4-5 persons. The upstairs room layout sits all for family meals. Each floor has a sitting rec room area. Washer Dryer provided. Internet access provided (all service thru Spectrum, only provider to OBX area) . Linen and House towels provided. Close to fee service fitness facility (inquire if interested). Level 1: Rec room, TV/VCR and QSS, bedroom with King Bed, bedroom with Bunk (2 beds) and 1 twin bed and full bath access off king bedroom for privacy or from rec room.. Walkout to back deck by pool, outside shower, or walk out to carport. Level 2: 2 Queen bedrooms share a full shower or bath with jetted tub and a 3rd Queen Master Bedroom with private bath/shower, Living Room with mini bar area and mini refrigerator and mini sink. We loved being within walking distance to the Ocean, Sound and Historic Corolla Village for coffee, pizza, cold beverages and food! Susan was great communicator before and during trip. The house was very clean and kitchen well stocked. Plenty of beach equipment, including a cart, which was very useful. We were 2 couples and liked the mid and upper living areas for our alone time. Upper level provided plenty of space and comfortable seating for us. The lower level was also very nice, but we did not need it. Having mini fridge and sink on mid level was a big plus! Can't wait to come back!

Great location/ short walk to the beach! The property had everything we needed for a fun family vacation. We were pleasantly surprised to see a buck make it’s way through the back yard.
Susan was a delight to work. We hope to return again in the future.

This was the perfect home for my whole family to stay in with plenty of room!!! Location is EVERYTHING. Didn’t move our vehicles the whole time bc we could walk to everything!

Where do I start...there were 11 of us ranging in age from 82 to 2 years young. Everyone had a great time. The house is exactly as described. A well stocked kitchen with several small appliances and lots of dinnerware. The private road to the beach was nice with the small children. The private pool was amazing...just the right size and depth for the little ones. Susan was a pleasure to work with and made sure she did everything timely that she needed to do. I look forward to working with her again, as I am sure we will be back.

The house was perfect for our group of 10, including one 3-year old and 2 dogs. We loved having three floors so we could spread out and the one block walk to the beach was perfect. Sue could not have been a better host— great communications! And we were thrilled that the kitchen was so well outfitted. Everything we needed. Lastly, the heated pool and hot tub were wonderful! Would definitely go back!

We very much enjoyed this house. The house is in a great location. Short walk to the beach, and even shorter walk to food/ice cream/drinks. The updated furniture was a plus as well. We were in the pool everyday. Sue, the property manager, communicated very well before, during, and after the trip. I recommend this house if traveling to Corolla, NC.

Family vacation for a group of 11 adults. We really liked the layout of the house. Each level had it’s own sitting area with couch and TV giving you some time to yourself if needed. The mattresses in the bedrooms were FANTASTIC-very comfortable. The house was immaculate and tastefully decorated. Brand new furniture. This wasn’t your avaerage rental, folks. Our family's first trip to OBX was made perfect in this gorgeous home and the property owner, Susan, is an absolute gem. The house is well-appointed and its layout is ideal, giving everyone space to spread out but still keeping us all connected. We enjoyed the decks for morning coffee and watching all of the fun in the pool below. The covered deck out front with hammock chairs and swing was fantastic for rainy moments to keep dry while enjoying the outside beauty. The hot tub was a relaxing treat and the path to the beach at the end of the private road makes for easy ocean time. We loved this quiet stretch of beach, watching dolphins, pelicans, osprey, and sand crabs play. Truly everything you need is right here, including a delicious pizza place and ice cream shop right across the street. Historic Corolla is a beautiful spot and easy walk. Grab an iced coffee at the Kind Cup and check out the Juice Jar and Island Bookstore. Also highly recommend taking a wild horse tour. Not enough words to describe it all. We fell in love and didn't want to leave. Thank you!

This house was a great layout for our family of 12. House was very clean and well kept. We appreciated that we were able to get in early and begin our vacation. The pool was great and we used it every day during our stay. Susan was a pleasure to work with from the time we booked until the end of our vacation.

A very enjoyable first visit to OBX
House was very comfortable for a large family. Loved that it is on a quiet street with beach access. The manager was very responsive and answered all of my questions promptly. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The house is well located. The beach is just a short walk down Persimmon Street and in the other direction about a block away is a strip center with a pizza parlor, mini-mart, gas, etc. That made it unnecessary to get in the car for the basic needs.
The historic Corolla Lighthouse and the historic village are a short walk away., and there were several festivals and events there over the week.
Lastly, I cannot over emphasize the great interaction with the property manager Sue Cernigliaro. Communication from Sue was excellent from the beginning, and any questions we had were responded to within minutes. The cable went out for a day while we were there and Sue not only responded within minutes, she continually researched the situation and contacted Spectrum to learn that it was a total OBX outage and then let us know when she had been informed that the cable was back on.
Rent this house and you wont be disappointed.

Great family vacation
We had three families stay here and there was plenty of room! We had 6 adults and 4 children. The house is beautiful and in a great location! The walk to the beach was easy. The beach is not crowded in this area either. Even on days we wouldn't go until 11:00, we found areas to put up a canopy and have plenty of space. Everyone enjoyed the large pool and hot tub. It's not too far from restaurants and activities for the kids. We will definitely book this house again!

Christmas at the Cottage
We enjoyed our Christmas getaway at the cottage. It was big enough for our group of eight to do our own thing but come together for meals. The kitchen was fully stocked, beds were very comfortable, hot tub was HOT and the porches were enjoyed by all of us! Thankfully, the weather was warm and sunny for our trip. Susan was very helpful and easy to communicate with during the entire process. She went above and beyond to help us with some of our requests. Thanks for a great trip!

Wonderful place to spend Thanksgiving with the family
Corolla Village was the perfect house to host my extended family's Thanksgiving. There was great space to come together for dinner and games, but plenty of room to do your own thing. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our Thanksgiving meal and plenty of room for multiple cooks at once. The house is beautfiul and clean with nice furniture. We took advantage of the great location for cruising the beach at night star gazing, as well as daytime walks on the beach and through Historic Corolla Village. The house was nice and quiet with easy access to restaurants and the grocery store. The best part of our stay was Susan, the property manager. She made it feel like you were staying at your best friend's house. Looking forward to another stay at this quiet getaway.

Renting in Corolla is extremely expensive. This lovely home is a great value. It is very clean. The middle floor bathtub has amazing jets it made the long drive from Pittsburgh fade away. The home location itself reminded me of being in the woods. The side yard has giant pine cones. The pool and hot tub are very nice. The ocean is just a pleasant walk at the end of the road. If you want to feel hidden away and enjoy some peace and quiet this is the home for you. Susan is the most communicative and kind woman to work with. Enjoy!

Great value
Renting in Corolla is extremely expensive. This lovely home is a great value. It is very clean. The middle floor bathtub has amazing jets it made the long drive from Pittsburgh fade away. The home location itself reminded me of being in the woods. The side yard has giant pine cones. The pool and hot tub are very nice. The ocean is just a pleasant walk at the end of the road. If you want to feel hidden away and enjoy some peace and quiet this is the home for you. Susan is the most communicative and kind woman to work with. Enjoy!

We had a wonderful time in this home. Pool was a perfect extra, with the ocean so close it was nice to have that option with the different ages of our kids. This house had everything you needed.
