Situated in North Topsail Beach, this attractive house for $317 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. IF YOU WANT TO BE ON THE BEACH, WE GOT IT, YOU CAN'T GET MUCH CLOSER !!! We can also provide these for a fee at your request. Pets (dogs) are welcome for a fee per pet. The house is located on a secondary street off the beaten path great for jogging and cycling. You will feel like you are literally on the beach with only a few steps, COME SEE HOW CLOSE!! Larry’s Lazy Susan has two wonderful oceanfront decks for your family and friends to enjoy. An intimate upper deck allows you a panoramic view of the beaches below. Enjoy sitting up here and relaxing in the warm Carolina sun. The lower deck offers a cooler, shaded retreat to sit on while watching your children play in the sand. Bring your fishing poles and try surf fishing, you may catch something great for dinner! Our house accommodates up to 13 guests with 5 bedrooms and 4 baths. Larry’s Lazy Susan is a short drive to downtown(approximately ( 5 miles) A typical day for us includes morning coffee on the ocean side deck watching the shrimp boats just off shore dragging their nets, birds flocking behind feeding on the left over shrimp and fish. The dolphins trailing behind and the pelicans are floating in formation along the shore. After a walk on the beach looking for shells and sharks teeth, we decide to set up our beach chairs and umbrella for a day of sun bathing and swimming in the surf. We take a break to play some beach games, volleyball and fly a kite. After a fun filled beach day and as the sun begins to set on the sound side, a beautiful view is afforded from the three decks on the street side. After dinner is prepared in the kitchen which has a view of both the ocean and the sound, the dining room which seats 8 at a square table has a wonderful view of the setting sun across the sound, the breakfast/dining area has ocean view dining seating 4 at a round Loggerhead turtle table where you can enjoy the ocean breeze. Having this dining area located off of the living area provides the gamers in the family a great place to play games, put together puzzles! The kitchen also has bar seating for three on bar seats where the family can join in on the preparation of dinner. Come, enjoy and make your own memories at Topsail Island and Larry’s Lazy Susan. This was our family's 12th year spending Christmas at the NC coastal islands. Larry's Lazy Susan is one of our favorite places thus far. The spacious kitchen allows for numerous people to gather and is fully stocked for the avid cook .The open floor plan of the common areas, is perfect for the whole family to hang out without feeling cramped. The view is one of the best on the island. The fresh/creative decor is sure to leave a smile on your face.
The elevator is a huge help with getting your luggage upstairs.
The owner of the property is attentive and available for any questions/ concerns you may have.
I would recommend this property to anyone!

Perfect property for our holiday family gathering including fur family members! Host instructions and Lockbox keys provided easy access for group members arriving at different times. Floorplan layout (in pictures) was excellent. Easy access to the beach and beautiful views. The elevator and ramp provided excellent access for those needing a little extra help. Kitchen/Dining area worked well for our group of 7. Top floor balcony with beachfront views and seating area was a favorite spot! The Host was very responsive. The rental bed and bath linens were delivered as scheduled.

We had a wonderful getaway in this beautiful home on the oceanfront. I watched a sunrise unfold from the balcony and took walks on the beach with barely anyone out as far as I could see. When I had questions, the owner was very quick to respond. I would have no reservation about returning to this very house and hope that I can.

A group of six friends spent a week at this property. We absolutely loved the house so very eclectic and comfortable. Great kitchen if you love to cook. Right on the beach. Watched the sun rise and set every day.

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Larry’s Lazy Susan. Our ages range from 90 to 2 months and the home was perfect for us all. Staying oceanfront was superb with the children running back and forth multiple times a day from the beach to the house. We are foodies and the kitchen was very well appointed ! only wish we could book for next summer but she is already full :)

This was our fourth stay at this beach house. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and there was plenty of room for family dinners. Beds were comfortable. The beach is steps away and was easy to take our chairs and raft to the ocean. We booked again for next year.

We absolutely love staying at Larry’s Lazy Susan on North Topsail Beach! We have been staying here for several years now, and plan to come back again next year. The home is very comfortable, well appointed, and the location doesn’t get any better! We also love that our furry family members can enjoy the beach with us as well! Larry is always responsive and helpful when we need anything. Highly recommend!!!!

Your property accomodated our family wonderfully. The elevator was very helpful in unloading. Great to have a table that we all fit around and plenty of dishes. We got great use out of the crockpots.
Couldn't have had a better access to the pristine beach. Love the outdoor shower facility.

Overall great lazy trip. Did nothing but visit, cook, eat, play cards, FISH, walk on the beach, hunt shells, and medal detect. Just relaxed. House was great. Loved that we had an elevator since we had three adults unable to do stairs.

Quiet location. Beautiful beach. Home was comfortable and clean. Owners very good to deal with. We brought our standard poodles they loved the home and beach. Elevator is a life saver to bring in luggage. Will recommend it and will definitely rent again.

Great location. Beautiful ocean views. We practically had the beach to ourselves everyday. Loved the elevator and ramp for our senior dog who has trouble with steps. Kitchen was well equipped. Would love to stay here again.

The house is very comfortable and is on a beautiful stretch of beach. The decks, beach access, and living room and upper deck facing the beach are terrific. The secure gate latches on the deck provided confidence for having the dog join us on the deck. The quantity and variety of kitchen utensils and dishes were great. Nice to have a grill, umbrella and a few beach chairs and toys on site. The ice maker was a really nice amenity. We didn't use the bedroom off the living room, but used all the others and all were quiet and private. It was nice to have a few different places to gather as a group or alone. The elevator was nice to get luggage and groceries up and down. As the photos show, on the third floor, the elevator opens directly into one of the bedrooms so using the elevator requires cutting through that bedroom to get to any of the other bedrooms on that floor. Slider to the third-floor deck was hard to open due to bottom rollers being bound up, but it worked. Larry is a proactive and responsive communicator, and I enjoyed working with him before and during the trip. It was a very nice experience.

Our family had a great week, enjoyed the property very much. The house was clean, and spacious. Larry was very good communicating with us through the whole process. And, he helped us with any needs or concerns. The elevator was very handy during the unpacking/packing of the car. The up to date wifi and tvs kept our teenagers happy. Beach is gorgeous. Found sharks teeth along the walks. Favorite part of the stay was enjoying the decks overlooking the ocean. The deck halfway down to the sand was our favorite hangout spot. Stargazing, and watching the military air maneuvers.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience! The home comfortably fit our family: 4 adults, 2 children, and pets. My wife is handicapped and the elevator/deck ramp allowed her to easily access the property. It is beach front. Fantastic sunrises, dolphins, and a clean beach. Plenty of room, the 5 bedrooms allowed us to spread out. The kitchen and dining area is spacious. You can't go wrong here - we intend to go back.

This spacious home was large enough for our family to rest and relax in. My daughter, who uses a wheelchair, was able to access the property through the elevator, which allowed her to experience the beach for the first time since she was a child. Beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. We liked having a separate ice machine in the kitchen. Showers had great pressure, and lots of hot water. The gated in deck allowed our pets to enjoy being outside untethered to lay in the warm sun. Check in process was very easy, and communication with the host was quick. Right on the beach without dozens and dozens of steps to access it. We had a wonderful time.

Be sure to check with the town about dredging activity on the beachfront. It can be noisy and disruptive to beach access.

We have enjoying staying at Larry's Lazy Susan several times in the past and this time was no exception! The home is spacious - so everyone had their own private bedroom / bathroom. The kitchen is large and easy to maneuver. Even with the sand movers working, the ocean view was OUTSTANDING! We reconnected and made lots of new memories! Thanks again for a wonderful get-away.

This is our fifth year coming to North Topsail/Topsail, our second year in a row staying at Larry’s Lazy Susan, and we are already looking forward to coming back next year. The house is well located, i.e., close to Surf City and Sneads Ferry. The beach is spectacular and the home is fantastic. The elevator is perfect for folks who have a harder time with stairs. For 4 adults and 2 dogs, we could not ask for better accommodations. The kitchen is well stocked with pans, utensils, plates, bowls, and other dishes. We only needed two bedrooms, but the home could easily accommodate a large or perhaps 2+ families. The family room is awesome, overlooking the beach and ocean and well furnished with a nice TV too. Between North Topsail, Surf City, Topsail, and Sneads Ferry, there are plenty of options for food shopping and eating out. We can’t say enough great things about Larry’s Lazy Susan!

This home is a rare gem amongst the jewels for the 3 of us all over sixty years old. OCEAN was practically at our steps, HOME was clean and furnished as stated, LAYOUT worked well for our needs, LOCATION was great and on a side road so traffic was a block over and TRASH was picked up twice during our stay. We didn't run into anything that didn't work. Owner was basically a text away . We will absolutely stay again without doubt (if we can get scheduled). Thanks for sharing your gem with the rest of us!!!

We have stayed @ Larry’s Lazy Susan multiple times & each stay tops the prior stay! Just love ❤️, love ❤️, love ❤️ this property. It’s a great location. Larry is super easy to deal with. My only suggestion would be to replace glass on table tops with plexiglass or some other material besides glass.

Wonderful home with entertaining atmosphere. Open floor plan, with nice beach feel throughout home. Home needs indoor air quality products and variable speed Air handlers and variable speed heat pumps to installed to increase air quality and reduce humidity level in home. Otherwise a perfect vacation getaway.

We absolutely loved the house. We took 9 kids on vacation before the summer ended and this house was perfect. We had more than enough room, the house was clean and right on the water. We loved every minute of our stay!

Larry's Lazy Susan provided the answer to the challenge of finding a property that would allow pets as our previous beach rental was removed from the market. We discovered this property through various searches and booked immediately. The owner responded to questions within minutes and was always very accommodating and down to Earth. There were no bad surprises and in fact the property is everything advertised and more. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you would need including "steamer" pots for shrimp boils etc. The outdoor spaces are perfect for sunrises. I'm not sure you can get closer to the beach...as it is just a short walk. All of the porches are gated to keep fur friends inside and safe. The upper deck provides an unfettered view up and down the beach, The beds were comfortable and bathrooms well done. I would recommend this property to anyone who had dogs, and a medium size family. The elevator is super convenient and quiet.
I could go on but I will simply end by stating we re-booked one day into our stay which should say all there is to say.

Larry's house is right on the beach. It is near a public beach access, but since the parking costs money and it's a small lot, we didn't have an issue with people setting up in front of our house. We saw dolphins two mornings in a row! We loved eating breakfast and lunch on the deck and getting as much beach time as we could.
The house itself is very artsy. There is artwork on just about every wall. Much of it is sayings, so you can spend quite a bit of time just enjoying all the phrases. I've never seen a kitchen so jam packed with cooking and baking supplies. They have duplicate and triplicate items. It probably needs to be cleaned out and organized to make more room for food storage.
The sleeping arrangements worked well for our group of 6 adults and 5 children. For the one queen bedroom upstairs, you must enter through the king bedroom, or use the elevator, so just a caution about needing to walk through the king room. We had the parents in the king room and their kids were in the queen room, so it wasn't an issue. The other queen room has its own small bathroom with shower. The king room shares a bathroom with the room that has 2 queen beds. We all always shower in the outdoor shower, so no issue with that set up. On the main floor there are two bedrooms and bathrooms. The one king room off the dining area has it's own decent sized shower with some grab bars. That's the flamingo room. The queen room on that level is entered through barn doors behind the couch. It's located in the hub of the house, so whoever occupies it might want to be aware.
Most supplies you will need to bring, although they did provide dishwasher and dishwashing soap and a sponge. There was just a little detergent for the washing machine, so I'm guessing it was leftover from another guest. Be sure to bring dish drying towels for the kitchen as well as saran, foil and paper towels.
The house was overall clean and the lightweight quilts on all beds seemed clean or if not, could be easily washed in washer. I wouldn't consider it a quality cleaning as we found items under beds, etc. but overall it was livable. They have a good vacuum and brooms that helped us manage to keep the house sand-free. I did let the owner know that new pillows are needed, so hopefully that will occur. The owner sent a welcome text and then an exit text. His response time was excellent, although we had no issues where we needed his help.

This is a fanstastic property and my daughters and our others love it. We are making this a yearly trip - just a nice getaway where we can spend some time together, no pressures, just relax and enjoy each other's company. This property is well situated for those that want to stay and close enough for those that want quick outings to the surrounding area to explore. We are looking forward to coming back next year.
