Clean, Spacious house for a family or friends vacation. I have visited Solvang annually for the last 3 years and have stayed in this courtyard of four houses each time and will plan to return for future trips.

We rented this property for 6 adults, the house was so convenient to downtown Solvang. The hot tub was an added bonus! Would definitely rent this property again.

The absolute only disapointment with this property and reservation process was the issue of pet payment. I reviewed several properties prior to selection..All reservations stated up front "pet friendly" and fee per pet per night. I did not see the pet fee until after $$ for reservation was submitted..I even checked again and not on initial review is pet fee listed.

The stairs were slippery with socks on and one of my friends fell down a few steps. Within a couple of minutes of that my other friend fell down the step leading into the living room from the entryway. We put the rug from the bathroom there and it was much more visible. The ice maker wasn't working. The picture in the dining room had previously fallen off the wall so I put it back up but it's not up there too securely

Since September 9, 2009, my Siblings and I have visited my mother's resting place in Santa Barbera. This is out first VBRO stay and it was perfect. We checked in at 4:00 on Saturday and I wasn't sure what to expect so I brought everything, from pillows, sheets, blankets, towels, and all the kitchen ware I could possibly plan but when I walked in and did a walk through it had everything that I had packed up. I'm super OCD on clean bedding but all the beds had white sheets and blankets seemed to all be washed and cleaned. Felt like a hotel with 3 private rooms, a family room, and a kitchen to come together in. I will definitely stay here again!

A wonderful place to stay. Within walking distance to the shops and restaurants in Solvang yet away from any traffic or noise. Nicely furnished and decorated and immaculately clean. The beds were very comfortable so we slept well in our upstairs rooms. We hope to stay here again in the not-to-distant future.

Loved the location, close to all the fun in Solvang. Our adult kids joined us here for our son’s wedding in Buellton. Just the amenities we needed. Ok, we could have used 3 more bathrooms to get ready in! But we made it on time. Groom joined the other guys for a soak in the hot tub the morning of the wedding. Perfect for us.

The home had everything we needed and was comfortable for a family of 6. The home was clean and ready when we arrived. The location was perfect, just two blocks away from main downtown Solvang. Parking was available for all three cars. Looking forward to staying here for all our Solvang and Santa Ynez visits

We had a wonderful time. House is in a great location and the hot tub is a nice addition. Linens were high end as was the toilet paper (not the cheap stuff in some hotels). Would come again.

My girlfriends and I (5 of us) spent the most magical weekend at this property right in the heart of Solvang. The house could not have been better for our trip, with everything you could possibly need. The downstairs layout was great and open, the hot tub on the back patio (the real reason I booked the house) was sublime after a day of walking, shopping and wine tasting. We all remarked that each of our beds was extremely comfortable. (We didn’t use the pull out sofa downstairs, so I can’t comment on that.). Upon our arrival, my phone couldn’t access the internet immediately to get the gate case, but a quick call to our host resolved that problem. We weren’t able to get the fireplace working, but I’m sure it would have been an easy fix. We didn’t feel it was worth bothering our host again since we spent such little time in the house. Truly, it was one of the best weekends of my life, and it was the perfect setup/location to do so. With it being a block to the heart of downtown, we walked everywhere!

We were attending a wedding with a few days of planned events and this home was perfect. It is a newer home, very clean with a wonderful, roomy layout for family or friends. The location is ideal - 1 street off of Mission but away from traffic and noise. You can walk anywhere in town from the house. The kitchen is fully stocked, the hot tub was very clean with a nice sized back yard and the bathrooms had plenty of space for everyone to get ready at the same time. Having a 2 car garage was also wonderful. We will be back!

I thought this property was nice. Unfortunately, we had a couple of hiccups that I sent a message to the owners who addressed it with us fairly quickly. The first issue was the AC unit was not working properly as it was 11 pm and we set the temperature earlier the nite to 75 degrees and it never got to it. It actually heated to 77. So, it was hard to sleep the first nite. But we opened the windows and it cooled the master off pretty good but the other 2 rooms was hot still according to my family due to not enough circulation. Plus one of the window cranks was broken so, we could not open one. Plus, there was a humming noise coming from somewhere outside, so, it was a challenging sleep nite...The other issues were ants...they were coming out of the sinks in bathrooms and there were some walking along the garage and the bathroom floor downstairs. So, the owners said there was a spray under the sink that is kids and pet safe to just address it on the spot - as he would also have to call the pest control people. I am not fond of ants, they were crawling on my toothpaste and stuff so, I moved all of my stuff on the dresser as far as ensuring that they do not get into my toiletries. Again, they try to address it quickly, it is just unfortunate that we had that experience of AC not working the first nite and ants for the 2 days we were there. Hopefully, they get the ants under control. He said it was normal for that time of the year. So, I was not too happy with the ants... The hot tub was nice, we spent a couple of evenings there. Just talking and chatting away. The place is close to everything. So, we did not have to go far.... They had a lot of channels to watch and veg on after all the walking around though.

6 adults ranging 59yrs - 85yrs. We loved it. It was comfortable and relaxing. It was very clean. The area is very quiet & relaxing. We had one concern and that was the step that leads into the living room. It's a big step when stepping down. Notes: Knob to the dimmer switch for the stairs was missing. And there was no can opener. But we will definitely be back!!!
