About this house rental
Nestled in Gulf Gate Estates, this lovely house for $265 per night is a great option for your next trip. Nice and Quiet, Two Bedroom /Two Bathroom house close to #1 Siesta Key Beach and Downtown Sarasota. Great Place to relax and enjoy the Gulf Coast. Perfect for families or a couples get away. We never post rental ads on Craigslist- do not pay anyone asking for money via Paypal, Venmo, check, or cash. The home has everything you need to enjoy a short or long stay. As your hosts, we live locally and will be available for any needs during your stay or local information. Local attractions include Van Wezel performing art center, St. Armand Circle, Downtown Sarasota, the new University Town Center Mall, local recreation like paddle boarding, kayaking in the mangroves, boating, wave runners, loads of fishing, Myakka River State Park and more. Come enjoy Sarasota! Recently renovated, this home features two bedrooms, a screened-in heated private pool, a spacious covered patio that has a dining & seating area. Relax by the pool in the lounge chairs provided for your comfort. The family room is furnished with comfortable seating, TV, & Wi-Fi. Kitchen contains all the appliances you need; with granite countertops and a breakfast bar. The dining room for 6 is great for dinner guests. There is also an outdoor dining table and chairs for 6. The Master bedroom has a queen bed, full closet and a nice master bath with shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds. We never post rental ads on Craigslist- do not pay anyone asking for money via Paypal, Venmo, check, or cash. An air mattress and pack-n-play are available. A full size washer & dryer are available for use. This home is centrally located and is close to the Westfield shopping mall and the Sarasota Square Mall. Just a 3 mile drive to Siesta Key Beach and 140 stores, restaurants, movie theater and food court. The new University Town Center Mall is now open and is just a 15 minute drive. Do you like to play golf? There are over 30 Championship Golf Courses in Sarasota alone! Famous Siesta Beach is a short drive where you will enjoy the beautiful white sand. Visit Myakka State Park where you can rent bicycles, canoes, or go hiking. Its a short drive to Venice, FL. where you can visit Caspersen Beach to dig for sharks teeth. Venice Beach allows you to take you dog for walks on the beach. Go for a bike ride or take your daily walk around this safe and clean neighborhood. Pack up your beach cooler and chairs as it is 3 miles to the famous Siesta Key Beach. Work on your golf game year round at your favorite course. Or, just relax by the heated, private pool in your own back yard.

Overall it was a good place, close to beaches, restaurants, shops. Had a few disappointments with pool heater not working. Pool was extremely cold and we couldn't enjoy the pool. Had only one TV and showed two TV's in house. TV wasn't working and Internet was out for the first 3 days of our stay. House is well equipped with everything you needed for the stay.

We did miss having the tv in the master bedroom and the pool heater didn’t seem to work . But enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property with a great location.

It's always a pleasure to stay in this home. It's clean, has an open feel and is in a nice, quiet, friendly neighborhood. Lots of walkers and joggers any time of the day. The large covered lanai and pool with a fenced yard make relaxing easy and pleasant. It's location is convenient to whatever you need to get to. Any questions/concerns and the property manager responds quickly. A very nice property that allows you to travel with your small pooch.

Original stay for 7 days. Cut short to 3 days because of hurricane warning. The 3 days we were there pool heater not functional. Looking for some form of compensation from either owner or VRBO. No response. No one taking accountability and in the end it is the CUSTOMER who looses out. What a shame!!!

Second stay at this house. House is in a great location. It's close to Seista Key and many restaurants within walking distance. Neighborhood is great for dog walks. House and pool are perfect. House is clean and well stocked.

The open floor plan is perfect and made it seem like you were always poolside. Great kitchen with all the accessories and filtered water with ice maker made it that much more enjoyable. We liked it so much we plan to return again and hopefully enjoy the beach and the numerous restaurants near by.

Renovated home in a great central location in Sarasota area. Close to grocery shopping at Detwilers, Publix and Costco, nearby Gulf Gate restaurants and Siesta and Turtle Beaches. Kitchen is well stocked. Property manager is wonderful to work with and responsive. If you prefer nice bath towels, bring your own. Living room couch needs replacing. Only basic cable available. Overall, a good value.

Aussi, siesta key et très proche et le stationnement, gratuit. Public est a 1 minute de la maison, un gros plus. Bref, je recommande vivement cette maison.

We had originally planned on being further south but hurricane Ian derailed those plans so I quickly hopped online to find what we could. We lucked out on this property as it had been blacked out for a new lanai and patio that were completed just before we arrived. We doubly lucked out as this place was gorgeous. Incredibly clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. If I could’ve waved a magic wand, the master bed would’ve been a king rather than a queen but it was very, very comfortable. Also, this was our first time staying in southern Sarasota and we loved the location. Great hosts. Great property.

Loved the close proximity to family, Siesta Key, great food, fun shopping (St Armand’s Circle not far!), so much to see, so little time! Great Property!
The house was beautiful, very clean and well equipped. The location was on point, we were able to get quickly to places. The restaurant’s were great! Called Tricia twice and she responded right away. Highly recommend💖

Great communication before & during stay. The property is in a great location- close to Siesta Key, Venice, & downtown. The inside of the house was immaculate. The only issue with cleanliness was the green mold on the lanai screen & outside furniture.

Family Fun!
A family of 5 adults stayed here for Memorial Day weekend! We had so much fun in the pool and everything was as described! The house was clean, sheets were clean and the beds were so comfortable! The only drawback we had was the grill. There were two very small charcoal grills but the listing says a gas grill which would’ve been able to better suit our large group and meals we cooked. Overall, highly recommend this place and would stay here again!
