The location was good, close to the sea front near restaurants and bars.
It is a very small and basic apartment which we knew but equipment could have been better.
There is a large balcony but there it overlooks a rubbish pen at the moment not a garden.
Maybe we went at an unlucky time but the entrance and corridors were very shabby, they may have just been about to decorate as switches and wires were hanging loose?
The gas stove was ferocious and a little uncontrollable so this set the carbon monoxide alarm off twice and we had a power cut due to turning on the oven whilst the AC was on. All that said the hosts were quick to assist but advance notice of these ‘quirks’ would have been good. Check in wasn’t the smoothest, but not too much of a problem.
Very small, basic and a little run down. But it was on the affordable end for a rental unit close to Taormina so you get what you pay for.
