THE ASHWOOD INN

We loved having a campfire and sitting at the pool tables in the day. The staff were a fantastic help and drove us to our party venue on Thursday night which was very much appreciated.

We found the main living room to be quite dark and found it hard to see both times I have stayed there. A tall floor lamp in the corner would be helpful. Also the main room needs a garbage.

We had a lovely stay at the Ashwood Inn in Bayfield. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We also had a great meal at the on-site Bayfield Tandoori Bistro. The staff were warm and friendly, and the food was fresh, flavourful, and very enjoyable. Our family loft-style room was comfortable (especially with 5 of us travelling together), with beds that made for a good night’s sleep. The location was also very convenient—Bayfield Square is approximately 1 km away, and Goderich is only about a 20-minute drive. The saltwater pool was another highlight and a lovely way to relax during our stay. Overall, the Ashwood Inn was a comfortable and welcoming place to stay, and we would be happy to return.

A little more seating in the room and/or table space would have added some extra comfort, particularly for a larger family group when having downtime (watching TV, playing games, etc.).

It was a good location. Clean and comfortable room.

TV streaming system wasn't great. Slow. Not intuitive.
