About this house rental
Nestled in Tanque Verde, this lovely house for $330 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Welcome to the Two Sisters. This house is Sister 2 (Goddess House), she is next to her sister, Sister 1 (Earth House), connected by an iron gate in the backyards, available either individually or together. One sister has a swimming pool (not heated) and the other sister has a hot tub. Both sisters are "art houses", creative retreats with nice dishes, beautiful kitchens, with art work to sit on, walk on, or just to look at. Sister 2 is a completely renovated, 4-Bedroom (1 King, 2 Queens, and 2 twins) / 2-Bathroom. The artist owner has filled this house with lovely furniture and art throughout, creative dishes and cookware fit for any occasion. This house has a 4-6 person hot tub located in the beautifully landscaped backyard. **You will have full and private access to this house, except the art studio. If you wish to have access to the studio please contact us prior to check-in so we can let our local contact know. **This house has Cox internet, 150mbps download and 10mbps upload.

This is the first time I've stayed in a house in east Tucson and I enjoyed learning about this part of the city. The Art House is a wonderful place to stay, the owner a gracious hostess, and the art in the house all very interesting. I enjoyed the hot tub and the back yard.

The house is well appointed and Ruth is an excellent host. Checkin couldn’t have been easier and she responded to every question we had quickly. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to get Thanksgiving dinner on the table- including Dutch ovens and plenty of serving platters.

We stayed here for a sibling reunion. There are 4 of us so the house has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
The house had just about everything we needed. Great kitchen, beautiful artwork and the backyard was spacious and well equipped....fire pit, grill and hot tub. Ruth was responsive when there was a minor glitch with the hot tub. Conveniently located to great hiking in Sabino Canyon and Mt. Lemmon. Our group would definitely stay here again.

On arrival we were met by our host Ruth who welcomed us warmly with a big smile. We toured the house together and we were very impressed with the pleasant lay out of the house as well as the large backyard and facilities. It was perfect for us as we were able to enjoy the privacy of the outdoors with friends who joined us for several meals. Due the spacious interior of the house, we were also able to accommodate our friends indoors as well. The house was very clean and the bedrooms were welcoming and very comfortable as well as spotless washrooms.
We would highly recommend this Art House to anyone who wishes to enjoy a carefree environment with such a superb host as Ruth.

Stayed in 7 different Vrbo’s during my winter in Tucson; and this was my favorite. We had a great stay. Lots of details done right. And we loved the spacious backyard and the hot tub.

Amazing space for family getaway
This stay was perfect. Great contactless check-in/check-out.
Ruth (owner) was readily available, but we never needed her as everything was easy, understandable instructions. Large space for us (two adults and two teens), gave us a room and each teen had a room two + an extra. House was immaculately clean. The art alone (that saturates all the spaces in the house) made the stay singularly unique. The yard is huge and a great spot for relaxing in between activities and night time firepit or hot tubbing under the stars at night. Everything was there for us (other than food). Grocery store is nearby, as well as coffee and other quick pick up places. Great starting point for hikes at Saguaro Park East, Catalina and Sabino Canyon. Quiet neighborhood. Just a splendid stay.

Perfect!
Everything was exactly as advertised and for a family of 5 adults had everything we needed exactly where you wanted it. The owner lives next door and introduced herself within a few minutes of our arrival and it was great to know she was there if we needed her, but we didn’t need her and didn’t see her for the rest of the week. Ruth was great about the contactless checkin and checkout process and we appreciate her letting us arrive a bit early and checkout a bit later than advertised. For my family, we would definitely stay again.

We were delighted with this house! It was easy to find and only about 25 minutes from the bead/gem shows. It was very clean, had modern appliances, and lots of places to hang out and relax. The hot tub was so nice! We even had a mourning dove that was nested near our garage --- that satisfied our longing for a pet. Ruth was responsive to any questions or needs we had. Beds were so comfortable. The neighborhood is super quiet.
We hope to stay here again on our next pilgrimage to Gem Fest!

The owner’s exhuberant artwork is everywhere and I absolutely loved it. My husband found it a little overwhelming at times. But at the end of our visit, he wanted to buy two of the paintings.
The kitchen is well designed, well equipped and a pleasure to use. The plates and glassware collection are delightful. There are 3 nice tables in different rooms to eat at.
The house is less than a mile from a good grocery store, Fry’s. Thanks to the highly functional design of the kitchen and nearness of Fry’s we ate at home more than I’d expected to. There are several interesting restaurants within a 10-15 minute drive.
It was quite cold while we were there, so we didn’t get to enjoy sitting out on the covered veranda. It has a great view of the sunset. The hot tub was very nice. We were grateful for the good washing machine and dryer.
The beds and linens are very good. The bathrooms are small.
The only thing I hope the owner changes is to add a bit more comfortable upholstered furniture to the main living room, so that there are more relaxing, well-lighted places to linger and to talk or to read.
Would I stay there again? Happily.
