2 bedroom, 1.5 baths.house- Finishes by designer, Grounds by landscape architect. House architect designed. Large entry, bedroom and half bath on first floor. The second floor has a great room with custom kitchen, granite counters, cook island (gas stove), panoramic view of the island. Cathedral ceilings and hardwood floors throughout. Tile shower and stone counter in bath, and queen bedroom with window seat. House is charming, cozy and beautiful. Central Air. Private patio and washer/dryer.

We had a great stay at this house! It’s an easy walk into town and convenient location on the island. The house was comfortable for our group of five adults. Would definitely stay again!

The guest house at Blue Crab is charming, inviting, and the perfect place to stay for a real Nantucket experience. The open kitchen area allows for comfortable down time, the sunny views and sweet backyard patio provide an "escape" feel, but the best part is the perfect location. Just a straight, easy mile walk into town for shopping and action, allows you to have best of both worlds...it's just a sweet and charming as the pictures show. This one's the real deal!

When we first arrived we were unable to get in because of the deadlock and the manager phone number was incorrectly listed on the VRBO page. After many hours we were able to get in and when we finally got in contact with the manager she was very apologetic and assured us that this had never happened before and that it would be fixed in the future. So after the initial snafu, communication was great. I feel I have to note that VRBO customer service was terrible.throughout the process of trying to get in contact with the owner.
The place was as described but is in need of some updates. There were some stains in the shower floor and lots of the kitchen wear was beyond its use date (pans for example). For what it cost, we expected a bit of a higher level of cleanliness.
The location was great and easy to get to. There is another property within a few feet of the house which isn’t clear on the listing. The patio was great to sit on for breakfast. In general, this house was good for our purposes.
