Close proximity to town, 15 minute walk to the station which was ideal for a stopover for a trip on the Jacobite steam train.
Well equipped little place, exceptionally clean. Perfect for our needs. Good communication to let us know it was ready for us.
Nice location in a quiet cul de sac backing on to the river - BIG plus point is you can see the Jacobite go over from the cottage!
The ensuite was a little snug height wise for the hubby but to be expected in the eaves and the downstairs large toilet was a massive plus so didn't really pose too much of a problem in the end.

We were not expecting breakfast but a variety of tasty things were left for us which we enjoyed.

Spotlessly clean cottage with everything you needed. Washing machine and drying rack very useful mid-trip. Location was walking distance to town in a quiet street. Milk in fridge and breakfast muesli etc very nice to have!

River Cottage is perfect for a couple's getaway, everything you need for a short or long stay. The facilities are excellent. The location of River Cottage is perfect for Fort William, a short walk into town to set you up for dinner on the way there and walk off the excess a little on the way back.
