About this apartment rental
River View Loft in Historic Downtown Vicksburg, Ms. This one of a kind Loft boasts over 1700 sq. ft. of original wide planked wood floors, brick walls and wood beam ceilings. It overlooks the Yazoo Diversion Canal to the West ( living area) and the east end (bedroom ) faces the Old Court House and Historic Downtown. This building dates back to the 1800's and was used as an old speakeasy in the roaring 20's. It features a huge private King Suit with custom headboard. Attached is a walk-in closet with laundry and on- suite bath with a large two- person jacuzzi tub with rain shower. The main living area is an open concept kitchen and living room with a guest bath which includes an old cast iron tub. We have tried to keep many of the originals features of this space while providing modern comforts. Please note that the loft is up two flights of stairs.

Great location with multiple museums and excellent restaurants in walking distance. Brought our dog and found a dog park near by. My fur baby was not a fan of walking up and down the two flights of stairs to the loft but he did enjoy walking up and down Washington and the dog park. Remy was a great and responsive host. Enjoyed food at Key City Pub. The Social, and The Biscuit. Loft was spacious and very comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Speakeasy in Vicksburg! The location was perfect — we could easily walk to great local restaurants, one of a kind stores, coffee shops, and breweries. The space itself was unique, comfortable, and full of character. A great spot to experience downtown Vicksburg and its history. We would definitely stay here again!

I can’t say enough about our stay, so glad we didn’t let the steps intimidate us, gave us good exercise and very safe with the hand rails. Beyond the doors was a beautiful large space. We ended up staying another night! So much to see and loved our accommodations!! We can’t wait to go back! The host was awesome!
