Great for kids, condo is massive and very clean. I really wish they provided a blow dryer and more than one dish towel. I thought that would be standard but I guess not. Caribe was under a lot of construction and they are putting in a new, big bar right next to the lazy river.

Very nice condo. Great location. Lazy River was not open yet. It opened the day we were leaving which was a bummer but pools were nice. The only issues we had were is upon arrival there were no towels in bathrooms so I had to call and have some brought to us. They were delivered promptly but then in one of the bedrooms there was an old dirty diaper and vomit on the floor and bedding. It took about a couple hours for someone to come take care of it. They changed the bedding and took care of dirty diaper but didn’t clean vomit up on the floor so I had to call back and then the lady didn’t even bring and cleaner to clean it up! She took a pillowcase and wet it and just wiped! Thank goodness I bring Lysol cleaner and spray with me and I had to clean it myself. Anyways other than that we had a very nice time

We had a great time here. It was clean, and the perfect size for us. The view was beautiful, and the amenities were so useful having children under 5. We will be staying here again. The only thing negative about our stay was the work they were doing to the decks so the lazy river was closed. Other than that it was the best vacation property we have stayed at.

We loved our experience at Orange Beach East! The cleanest condo and facility I have ever stayed at. Perfect location in town and so many amenities at the condo itself. We will definitely be returning.

No hand soap in bathrooms. Not enough trash bags or dishwasher pods. No hair dryer. No instructions regarding trash.
One bathroom flooded because of broken shower stem two flights above. It was a miserable night.

Spacious and beautiful view
The Caribe is lovely but mid to late July it was jam-packed. Fortunately there are lots of swim areas so the pools were not too crowded and there’s a shuttle to take you across to the beach. The condo did not have extras of anything - blankets or pillows for example - nor did it have the little items we used to expect from prior guests, like salt and pepper or other grocery items. I guess Covid changed all that. There was an extra garbage bag but we had to get more. Just be prepared to go into it like a hotel, bringing every item you need. We were able to purchase an extra 2 parking passes but spent about 20 min driving around to find a place on Sat. night after dinner. It was a great place but I think we will plan a different time of year next time.

Beautiful View but it needs some update on the carpet, all mattress and the bed in the kids room needs to be replaced it squeezed every time my kids moved. The small ice machine doesn’t work. The couch needs to be replaced it’s really old the arm on one side has no cushion in it. The bed needs to be replaced in the first bedroom too.
If the owners could update all of this we would come back and stay in the condo because the view is amazing.

The air vent in the bunk room did not work, so it was very uncomfortable at night. Other issues were addressed by a courteous efficient maintenance man ( light bulbs and door locks).

The unit was spacious. Decor was pleasing. Employees were polite and helpful. Check-in was easy. This condo could be so much more comfortable! 1. There were no chairs or benches in any of the bedrooms, no place to sit and relax or put on your shoes. The master had an extremely tall bed, so a chair was very necessary there! 2. The ice machine didn't work. We did not use the wine cooler. 3. Not enough chairs on the balcony for our party. We did have a large one (6 adults, 2 children), but we couldn't use the balcony because there were so few chairs. 4. The white swivel chairs shown in the living room were everyone's favorite, but the arms, inside the arms and the section one's legs rest against were quite dirty. 5. Dining chair bottoms were sunken. Very uncomfortable. 6. Our two little ones were eager to get to the beach, but the beach shuttle was barely operating. We finally gave up on it. 7. Floors could have been cleaner. It's evident that the mop water needs to be changed more often. I was elated to find that, although I had to dig for them, a step-stool was available for that tall master bed! I'm 4'9" and tall beds are a huge problem for me! Thank you! I've asked for them in hotels and just got a funny look. Condo amenities were fabulous.

It was right next to the kitchen & living area which is not good. It must have been a sitting area that they made into a bedroom. It was not 4 bathrooms but 3 plus a powder room. So those who stayed in the bunk room, right next to the kitchen, living area had to use the other guest bedrooms bath so they could shower. Our ice maker was not working & we reported it on the first day. They came out to service it but it was never fixed. The a/c in the bunk room was not working & that was reported as well. TV’s in the bedrooms were not working & it wasn’t until the 3rd day that they came to fix it. We also had to burn candles the whole time due to a musty odor. We provided a list to property management upon check out & was hoping for some kind of compensation for our inconveniences during our stay to no avail. I would not recommend this unit.

The room was fantastic, most of the resort was nice, but the deck by the pool/lazy river needs major updates, it's crazy that you have to go down to an extra elevator which looked like a small service elevator into a dirty service room. I just don't know why they wouldn't have a nicer looking way to get up to the pool deck. Also, the back walkway needs to be fixed ASAP. I know there was a hurricane, but it's needed. Also, a walk over to the beach would be very, very helpful! Walking around and under the road is just too far for a fun little trip to the beach/bathroom.

For the price they’re charging, I expected better.- Carpets in the bedrooms were dingy, dirty, & in desperate need of replacing. - Master shower needs to be replaced...mold & mildew...also beware to turn the knob to the left to turn the shower on. If you turn to the right, 3 jets in the wall will dramatically shoot freezing water directly at you, out the shower door & all over the bathroom. - Ice machine was not functional & was dirty looking. They said they sent maintenance to look at it but it never did work.- The washing machine was a big issue for me. I opened it up and it smelled very very strong of mildew, & the inside was lined with visible mold. They sent maintenance to look at it & then text me that “the door to the washer was not latched” and it should work properly now?? I specifically explained the issue, and I assure you I know how to close a washer door lol- They desperately need to provide some parking instructions with check in. No info at all was provided & it took quite some time to figure out the logistics. Apparently our unit is assigned 1 parking garage spot, then additional vehicles purchase passes & park out in the lot. it took all day to find our units spot...the garage is an extremely confusing layout with no signage at all.The building itself could use a renovation on the inside, super dated...and it feels really damp everywhere.This was our 1st time doing the high rise condo thing in OB, We’re usually 30A people. The condo thing is just not our jam, to each his own. But if you’re like us, just know this may not be for you. :)The management I text with was very nice, even though they never solved our washer issues.

The condo was very nice and roomy. The Caribe is my children's favorite place to stay. The only negative comment about the condo itself is that it lacked needed kitchen utensils and blankets. Also for a condo that accomadates that number of guest, more than ONE parking pass should be supplied at no extra cost or at least part of the rental agreement.

Our accommodation was roomy, clean, and well equipped with everything we needed. The facility had so much to offer with all the pools, outdoor activities, as well as indoor pools to get out of sun or rain. The kids loved the pool slides! It was a little hike to the beach with little kids, but we made it work. All in all it was a pretty perfect experience! Would go back!

The condo unit was the perfect size for our group. We loved having that one extra room for the children so we did not feel cramped when we were at the place. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to cook our meals. The wrap around balcony gave us the entire view of the resort. The check in process was very easy and i loved how easy it was to communicate with them via text. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Caribe and will definitely be back.

We rented this condo for a getaway weekend with 4 couples and With a pull out sofa this condo can sleep many adults and kids. It has so much space, it could definitely handle another sofa. The view looks out over the pool and road but it has the view of the ocean. Some of the amenities were closed but since it was January we were fine with that, I would suggest inquiring before you book. We had a few small issues but they sent a guy right out, and he was professional and nice. The rug in the picture is not in the condo, and there were not many glasses or cups to support a place that sleeps 12, but the rental company did drop some off on Saturday for us.Overall... I will definitely rent this unit again in the future and all appliances were working and the ice machine working is always a plus. It is close to the indoor pool when you come down the elevator, which if open is a plus in the winter months.

Overall, this rental was good! Our party of 12 fit very comfortably. Our fridge quit working while we were there. As a result we had to throw out our food. The rental company was very quick to respond to messages, and they brought us a loaner fridge to finish out our stay. The view is great! The resort pools are fun. A couple minor things could be improved in the unit, but overall it was a great rental! We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in the area.

I’ve stayed at the Caribe for nearly fifteen years and continue to return because of the spacious lay out of the units and the amenities that the resort has to offer. That being said, some of the units are beginning to show their age. This unit was beautifully decorated and very spacious. The wrap around balcony offered views of the gulf, the front pools and lazy river, the back pools and slides, and the bay. I love it when I can get that view! The kitchen could use some updates. A replacement microwave had been brought in was left sitting on the counter taking up valuable counter space. The oven needs replacing, and there were very few pots, pans, and cooking utensils. We also had trouble with two of the three toilets not flushing, which has been an issue that we’ve experienced in other units at the Caribe. All of these things seem minor, but when staying at a resort of the Caribe’s caliber and paying a premium price, these are details that one would expect to be taken care of. Hopefully management or the owners will resolve these issues. Despite the minor issues, I would book this unit again strictly for the views and the amount of space.

There was no stay... because the condo wasn’t going to be ready for our arrival despite getting an email a week before our scheduled stay stating you were looking fir ward to seeing us. I called 5 days before our stay to see if the unit was available for us to add a day; I was then informed that the unit would not be ready for us and that you had nothing else available. No call, no email, nothing I am still curious when(if) you would have informed us if I hadn’t called you. That was Oct 6th... we still haven’t received our refund. Today (11/16) I was told there was a miscommunication and that it would be mailed out this week. Very frustrating experience. Phil Watkins

The property appeared clean but a dirty folded qtip was found at bed side table. Considering the room was empty the night before I know the cleaning crew had no reason to rush therefore it is questionable if sanitizing standards are being followed as advertised. The ice machine was not functional and had what looked like mold and it had an odor. I called the management office and the qtip was removed but the ice machine untouched so I do not believe any additional cleaning was actually done. There was a missing coffee pot and I requested one on two occasions but we did not get a pot our entire stay. And the lady negative is the parking policy doesn’t make sense. When the facility is not full there is no reason that adequate parking passes can be provided for large units such as this one. 4 bedrooms will most likely have multiple adults driving multiple vehicles. Supposedly 1 parking pass is included with the rental fee but i was charged $30 for both passes. The management company didn’t address other issues during my stay so by the time I realized the charges I had no confidence that would be handled properly when I no longer in the unit. Now for the positives - there was adequate cookware and plenty of dishes and utensils. One could easily entertain a dozen people. The beds were quite comfortable and plenty of extra linens and pillows. All appliances are high quality so cooking was a breeze. The balcony had a great view. The master jacuzzi tub was comfortable and relaxing.

- Master shower needs to be replaced...mold & mildew...also beware to turn the knob to the left to turn the shower on. If you turn to the right, 3 jets in the wall will dramatically shoot freezing water directly at you, out the shower door & all over the bathroom.
- Ice machine was not functional & was dirty looking. They said they sent maintenance to look at it but it never did work.
- The washing machine was a big issue for me. I opened it up and it smelled very very strong of mildew, & the inside was lined with visible mold. They sent maintenance to look at it & then text me that “the door to the washer was not latched” and it should work properly now?? I specifically explained the issue, and I assure you I know how to close a washer door lol
- They desperately need to provide some parking instructions with check in. No info at all was provided & it took quite some time to figure out the logistics. Apparently our unit is assigned 1 parking garage spot, then additional vehicles purchase passes & park out in the lot. it took all day to find our units spot...the garage is an extremely confusing layout with no signage at all.
The building itself could use a renovation on the inside, super dated...and it feels really damp everywhere.
This was our 1st time doing the high rise condo thing in OB, We’re usually 30A people. The condo thing is just not our jam, to each his own. But if you’re like us, just know this may not be for you. :)
The management I text with was very nice, even though they never solved our washer issues.

The condo was very nice and roomy. The Caribe is my children's favorite place to stay. The only negative comment about the condo itself is that it lacked needed kitchen utensils and blankets. Also for a condo that accomadates that number of guest, more than ONE parking pass should be supplied at no extra cost or at least part of the rental agreement.
