We had a great stay at AmericInn. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the staff was friendly. The location was convenient, and we would definitely stay here again.

The staff were all so friendly, welcoming & accommodating. Our room was very clean & the breakfast was excellent! We really enjoyed the whirlpool!

The location of the AmericInn in Detroit Lakes was great.
Our reservation was for 3 nites - we were locked out of our room after the first nite. The bathroom was very small - could hardly move in the room where the toilet/shower were. The body soap dispenser, the shampoo dispenser and the conditioner dispenser were all empty. Don't they get checked when the room is cleaned? Plus the carpeting was very dirty.
