Munis is a great place to stay in Samarkand. Warm welcome by the host, Nozima, a young woman who speaks perfect English, is very helpful and gives great info and tips.
Very central location at 7 minutes walk from Registan and max 15 minutes from most of the other sites (and next to the best bakery of Uzbekistan 😉). Not very big, but comfortable and clean rooms (with the best airco i've had so far in central asia) around a quiet green courtyard, where you get a nice breakfast in the morning.
Not a problem for me, because it was clear in the pictures on Booking, but good to know: don't expect a pool for swimming...

The host Nozima and her family are great .Nozima was very helpful..I turned up unexpectedly early and she made a room available for me at short notice.She also makes great breakfasts with some homemade ingredients and also helped me book another cooking course when mine unexpectedly.cancelled. Her family were also friendly and always said hi when I was around .Top marks !

I really enjoyed my stay there. The host was incredibly attentive, warm, and always taking great care of her guests. The rooms were comfortable, the bed was very cozy, and the whole place was peaceful and quiet, especially with the lovely breeze coming from the courtyard. There was always hot water as well.
The location is within walking distance to Registan Square, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Everything was freshly prepared, and during the three days I stayed, she made different dishes every day. Overall, she is a genuinely kind person, and you can really feel comfortable there because she truly enjoys what she does.
I highly recommend staying there if you want to experience the real hospitality of Samarqand people.

We enjoyed our time here at this homestay. The stay was comfortable and the breakfast was also nice. The location was also good in that you could walk around and see some of the remaining Jewish buildings in Samarkand in this neighbourhood, as well as an unrelated antique shop that was amazing there as well. For the price-point I think this was very good and would for sure recommend in general.
Not much to say that we didn't like. Perhaps it could have had more things in the courtyard but again for the price-point I think it was for sure good.
