Property was beautiful more so than we expected.
The pillows can be a little more comfy but it’s not a not deal.

super central for seeing everything in Matera. although the cave room is basic, it is very comfortable for a nights stay.

Our location was great and allowed us to visit the city at ease.
1. Communication with our host over WhatsApp was great. However, upon arrival, the instructions were unclear and finding our room was difficult.
2. The room was not really as advertised. It was small, and also very humid. Fortunately, we had the heater on, otherwise we would have been freezing.
3. As it's expected when you stay in a cave, it won't be luxurious. However, the room could really do with some improvements. Our bed sheets were changed but were stained (pillow cases especially)
4. Surroundings were noisy (especially on the Friday evening) where we could hear loud music above us.
5. Overall, the experience was more or less okay. But we found it too expensive for the quality we received.
Also plan to bring your own toilet paper as we were given one roll for two people for two full days. And a tourist tax in cash (not cards...)
