Nice old building with atmosphere, well restored to have all the necessary comforts.
Parking was limited which made us park in the muddy hillside.

The location, and especially the extensive back garden. You could sit outside in 5 or 6 different places and watch the afternoon turn into evening. Very comfortable, especially in hot weather.
An unfriendly reception when we arrived to check in. Despite having all the personal details from Booking.com, thet insisted on us filling in long forms with all that information - and more! No explanation other that it was "hotel policy."
Then there was a problem about keeping my wife's medicine in the freezer and the fridge.
The whole process took 45 minutes. Another 5 minutes and we would have left without staying!
Eventually the member of staff who was unhelpful about the medicine apologized, and offered us a free drink later that afternoon.
All's well that ends well!

Great, exactly what we needed, it was directly on the Eisleck Trail

The Location
Accidentally booked a room for 2 adults and one child with shared bathroom and WC based on assumption and not carefully read before booking. However encountered a difficulty using shower due to very little water and cold. Fortunately was only for 2 nights and didn’t want to confront the place owner/manager during our short stay.
This was our second visit of this place and we noticed clear changes compared to first time with regard to decreased quality of breakfast and less smiling faces of the employee.
Hopefully this feedback helps the manager to stay sharper in continue improving the quality of the stay for future guests.
