Last minute cheap break. Know Playa Blanca well and this accommodation is in an excellent location a couple of minutes walk from Playa Flamingo. Bus stop close to entrance if not up for the walk into main strip. Taxi approx 4-5euroes to Marina Rubicon.
Well,you get what you pay for. Must have been an excellent place back in the day. Lovely set up of bungalows in beautiful,leafy,well maintained grounds. Great private terrace with modern chairs and loungers. Beds v comfy and clean. Bungalow over all pretty clean tho ingrained grime in old furniture and kitchen handles.Plastic windowframe coating peeling off on most bungalows.
Shower very powerful and plenty of hot water. Hand soap and shower gel on walls.
Good to have wee enclosure at back with washing line and pegs. Small pot scrubber and washing up liquid supplied.
Kitchen and bathroom in desperate need of upgrade.
Aircon a big miss in current v hot weather. Limited fans in various states of filth-pointed out health hazards of dust/bacteria being blown onto folk, but shortly after returning a very dirty one saw it being carried by another holiday maker(reception said they couldn't open it to clean-just needed a little screwdriver tho!) Air does flow nicely thru house when all open during day but for security and mosquitoes we prefer to close up at night so were quite uncomfortably warm.
Unfortunately cafe and bar were closed over our stay but nice walk down to Flamingo where plenty bars and restaurants(highly recommend the pina coladas at the beach hut bar!)
Would probably stay again at cooler times of year. Grand for a retired couple with no kids to worry about overheating and all pretty easy going and relaxed (apart from 'fan-gate'!🙄)Added a couple of pics,sorry none of nice terrace.

Close to the beach and local restaurants
Room is very old, cupboard doors do not align, we asked for a room fan as it was so hot but was told they only have 11 for 70+ bungalows, the reception area is immaculate and air conditioned, maybe some money should be directed to improving the rooms.
