Inexpensive, clean and convenient place to stay opposite the main railway station in Lille, and less than 10 min on foot from Lille Europe railway station. Downstairs is a bar opening onto the main square.
It was a bit noisy but that goes with the location !

Location opposite the train station, within walking distance from everything in the city centre. Buffet breakfast was quite decent. The room was clean.
The room and corridors looked a bit dated and worn.
I was staying there during the (rare) heatwave - with no a/c I had no choice but to open the windows, and noise from the street was bad throughout the night. Not to mention mosquitos...

Staff were super friendly and the hotel is located in a really good spot if you need to go to either train station or the city square!
It was very warm in the rooms, on a hot day in Lille where it was 31 degrees it would of been nice to be able to open a window a bit more than it would allow, or some air-conditioning as the toilet area was a bit smelly due to the warmth.
