Absolute WOW location with great views, infinity pool on the water and access to lake swimming. Also an excellent base for exploring Franciacorta and its vineyards. EZE restaurant was very nice.
The rooms were small and boring. We booked late so ended up with the bottom tier of room but still thought that the room had so much potential to take advantage of the amazing view and perhaps express some of that famed Italian design skill.

Very nice rooms, great beds and great breakfast with a beautiful view over the lake. All the employees were very friendly and nice.
The restaurant Ize does not live up to the reviews.

The breakfast was good, but not “splendid”’as advertised. The hot food was lukewarm, and anything freshly made cost extra. The adjoining restaurant had excellent food. But the portions were stingy. Our shared appetizer ( which was supposedly enough for two) consisted of three perfectly grilled scallops, they should have had four if it was “enough” to share.
The hotel is located 1.9 miles from Iseo ( where all the restaurants, shops, and boat excursions are. We tried to get a Taxi from Iseo to the hotel none available, called the hotel and they blew us off, they told us to walk ( with luggage) or wait 2 hours catch the next train which goes only a mile past the hotel then walk from there. When we arrived all exhausted and sweaty an hour later they showed zero empathy and said we never claimed to provide shuttle service. The service was poor and the reception staff arrogant.
