The room was spotlessly clean and the staff were polite, courteous and friendly. We had an Executive Room that gave us access to the 17th floor lounge - the views were spectacular, breakfast and evening food were excellent and the 2 hours of alcoholic drinks were most enjoyable. The hotel is 15 minutes walk from a tram line and ferry stop. Since the weather was so good we did not use the gym or spa, but the facilities looked decent.
The climb up the hill after a day’s sightseeing was pretty exhausting. This is a big conference hotel which also hosted several weddings whilst we were there - whilst we enjoyed the people-watching, others may find it too busy.

An Unforgettable Stay at Swissôtel The Bosphorus
Our stay at Swissôtel The Bosphorus was truly exceptional and made an already very special occasion even more memorable. The hotel combines the elegance and sophistication of a luxury Istanbul property with spectacular surroundings, beautiful accommodations and, most importantly, a level of hospitality that made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay.
A very special thank you must go to Zeynep, the Guest Relations Manager, whose exceptional leadership, professionalism and personal commitment to our experience truly stood out. From the moment she became involved, she went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of and that our short stay was nothing less than extraordinary. Her warmth, attentiveness and genuine desire to make our celebration special exemplify hospitality at its very best.
The entire team followed that same standard—from guest relations and reception to the restaurants, housekeeping and hotel staff. We wanted for nothing, and every interaction reflected warmth, professionalism and a sincere desire to make us feel welcome.
The property itself is magnificent, with beautifully appointed spaces, wonderful amenities and, of course, breathtaking views of the Bosphorus and Istanbul. There is something incredibly special about experiencing this extraordinary city from such an iconic setting.
What could have simply been a luxury hotel stay became a truly unforgettable celebration. The team didn’t just acknowledge our special occasion—they made it feel even more special, and those thoughtful touches are what we will remember most.

The AC didn’t work for the first two days despite our complaints, the room was extremely hot, housekeeping was only once a day, and used/dirty towels were not replaced but put back on the shelf.
Poolside pricing was inconsistent—the exact same order cost around 1,800 TL one day and 1,200 TL the next, which felt very unprofessional. Communication was also difficult as the pool staff spoke very little English.
