This is the 3rd year in a row that we have stayed at Meson de Sancho and each time we have had a fantastic family holiday. We stayed in one of the bungalows which allows us to take our 2 children and a dog. The whole place is really suitable for us as the hotel has everything we need with a wonderful breakfast on offer, a great restaurant for lunch or dinner, a refreshing swimming pool which is big enough for lots of people but is never very busy and the nicest hotel staff I have ever encountered. Every single one of the staff is super helpful, is open for a chat about the area and is aiming to make your stay a pleasant one. The hotel is well situated to drive, get a bus or take taxi into Tarifa as well so you have plenty of options if you want a drink in town but don't want to drive. The bungalows are clean and well maintained and the gardens are incredible. Lastly, the restaurant menu is always a thing of beauty - I recommend the sopa de pescado and the corvina if you get a chance to try.

The location was very good and good value. We were upgraded to a big room at check-in which was a nice touch.
The walls and terrace doors are thin and at 2 or 3 am guests arrived next door which meant they woke us up because we could hear them speak and be loud. We are on a road trip, driving through south of Spain so sleep is important to us. The bathroom shower was not great and also water leaked through the screen and made such a mess.
