Un hotel molt peculiar per la seva decoració com un museo de rellotges antics. Molt bonic el lloc.

Some of the staff were friendly and nice. The parking spot in front of the hotel was a plus, but it was not always free. Location in the old town for sight seeing on foot. Restaurants are also very close. The bathroom was very clean.
Not all employees speak english at the front desk. We had the inconvenience of getting the one that did not speak english when we checked in, but we managed to arrange everything nevertheless. The room we were given was not the room that we saw on the pictures when reserving. The first thing when you walked into the room was the smell of old wood or the carpet - not exactly sure which one was the problem. Anyway, you go open the window and all the noise of the busy street hits your ears. No other option of ventilation. No AC, just so you know. The bed was not king size but a lot smaller. We could not sleep comfortablly. The other problem with sleeping other then the small size of the bed was the noise from other rooms and the pluming from the toilets. We sleep with ear caps and we still heard everything that was going on around us + the busy street (with closed windows). Room service cleaned everyday but we chose to throw the towel on the floor to get a new one and when we came back the same towel was hanging from the door handle and we knew it wasn't changed because it was wet. We didn't have breakfast so that I cannot write anything about.
All in all there are some positives but with us the negatives were just to much and we were really happy it was over once we left and I can say we survived. But for anyone who is bothered by things I mentioned before, please do not go because you wont have a great and comfortable stay. But if you like to see old hotels and furniture and explore new things and go on an adventure, this is for you. Not everybodys cup of tea but I think some people would like it.

The hotel was extremely clean and tidy and the furnishings were excellent, so many lovely items to see. Our room was a good size with very nice bed linen. The bathroom was clean and fresh and the shower was a great size. The hotel was in a central location, easy to find and close to the centre.
There was no lift which wasn’t a huge concern as not many storeys but difficult for those with mobility issues. That said, the receptionist was extremely helpful and offered to take our cases upstairs for us.

this is a really interesting hotel in a convenient location for walking the Camino del Norte.
The only issue was that our room was on the corner of a busy junction and although there isn’t a huge amount of traffic, it seemed very noisy until well into the early hours of the morning. There is double glazing but as it was warm we needed the windows open as there is no AC and it did affect our sleep.

They close the restaurant to other guests if they have a group staying. ridiculous.

Location was perfect and the staff were great. Old quirky hotel with a nice little restaurant downstairs. If you get parking out front it is very convenient.
Breakfast was very basic and the rooms were a little small.

Beautiful old building, with lots of space and period details. Staff were really pleasant and accommodating.
Main problem was that we arrived during a heatwave and the hotel doesn't have aircon. I am guessing most don't up here as it's rarely necessary. BUT - the hotel is located on an insanely busy road junction. Our room overlooked this and so opening the windows wasn't an option. Also my pillow was really hard. We wanted to change rooms but they were full. The staff did their best and offered us a fan. We got no sleep at all and the next day was a write-off. We only stayed one night of the two we'd planned and weren't able to get a refund "Because we'd booked through Booking.com".

Pleasant hotel close to the centre of this attractive old town and handy for visiting the Altimira caves and the many lovely beaches nearby. Charming and helpful staff.
It was very hot when we stayed in July and a fan in the room would have been most welcome. The windows open directly to the road and it was too noisy to leave them open all night.
The breakfast choice was a bit limited (although I loved the tortilla) especially the choice of fresh fruit.

Beautiful building and great location.
Like many older buildings it was quite hot during the heatwave. AC would be a dream.

I liked almost everything. The hotel is elegant, as if belonging to a village nobleman. Very charming rooms full of antique furniture and beautiful paintings. Comfortable rooms. Good service. Great food. The breakfast buffet is top.
No AC. The room was hot and muggy. Unfortunately there was a heat wave when I was there.

Lovely hotel with lots of character. good location on the edge of town
nothing wrong with the property, but guest in next room had tv on very loud after 1pm. Had to get Night Porter to get him to turn it down, so not a good nights sleep

Very welcoming receptionist, great location, incredible historic property, lovely large room, modern and clean bathroom. Excellent choice for the buffet breakfast.
Could have just had better quality towels - we thought that they were a little thin.
