An Unforgettable Birthday Experience – Absolutely 100/100! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My family and I were exploring beautiful Montenegro to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and luckily for us, her actual birthday fell during our stay at Casa Del Mare Hotel. What an incredible blessing that turned out to be! Before our arrival, I had asked if something special could be arranged for her birthday, and the hotel went above and beyond! A lovely, very tall lady from the team took care of everything, beautifully decorating our room with balloons, a cake, and wine. The surprise was absolutely magical, and my wife was completely blown away! We had planned to spend the entire day indoors, relaxing and enjoying the hotel, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our Montenegro holiday. Everything was top-notch! We enjoyed the indoor swimming pool, sauna, a wonderful massage, a lovely dinner at Bocasa, and a delicious breakfast at the restaurant the following morning. Every experience felt carefully thought out, and the hospitality was exceptional. A special mention to Manja, who was incredibly lovely and even shared some helpful recommendations on places to explore in Podgorica. And to the wonderful waiter whose name I unfortunately cannot remember, thank you for making two little paper frogs for my son! Such a simple gesture, but it absolutely made his day. He loved them! One thing that really stood out was how genuinely warm and welcoming everyone was. I was initially unsure about the local tipping culture and a little nervous about offering tips, but I’m glad my appreciation was received so graciously. What makes a hotel truly exceptional isn’t just its beautiful facilities, but the people who make you feel special. Casa Del Mare delivered both effortlessly. My wife had an unforgettable birthday, my son was happy, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my family. Our experience was a solid 100/100!

The room was very nice, comfortable and well designed. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the view from the balcony was definitely one of the highlights of our stay.

Although the staff were very nice, unfortunately they were not particularly helpful or effective. For many of our questions and requests, we did not receive a satisfactory solution. There were also several details that did not match what we would expect from a five-star boutique hotel. For example, there were old insect nests left on the balconies, and the spa area was not properly maintained, used towels were left in piles on the floor and there were puddles of water around. The rooms facing the road can also be quite noisy. The biggest problem during our stay was a wedding organized at the hotel. Loud music continued well past midnight and made it practically impossible to sleep. This is particularly disappointing when staying at a five-star boutique hotel and paying around €400 per night. At this price point, guests should be able to expect peace and comfort, or at the very least clear advance information about an event that may seriously disturb their stay. Another disappointment was the beach. It is advertised as private, but in practice anyone from the street can access it. As a result, it can get very crowded and hotel guests may struggle to find a place.
