Very close to Earls Court underground. Staff were lovely and friendly! Chilled water to buy at just £1 was great. A budget hotel in a great location. Very quiet, didn’t hear anyone in other rooms.
Very small room for the three of us in a heatwave, extremely hot. The fan did help a bit, don’t know what we’ve have done without it. Bed just had a thin sheet which kept coming out so I was lying on the actual mattress, no covering sheet between that and mattress, which I think it needed for hygiene reasons.

Location was excellent. The room was clean, clean bedding.
The toilet and shower were together outside the room. It was very old and in poor condition, very unpleasant. The shower door was not working, it was impossible to shut it. The shower head didn’t work properly, water was coming out just a few thin streams. The water drained poorly -the drain was obviously clogged, I needed to stay in dirty water during the washing. The second bathroom was on the next level and its condition was more poorer then on our level. The ceiling was in hazardous condition- chunks of plaster were clinging to the ceiling wallpaper threatening to fall onto the guests’ heads. It was not only unpleasant but very dangerous and unsafe.
The window in the room was open, because we were not able to shut it - there was a bottle with water in the frame. We asked the receptionist to help us. He answered that the maintenance would be next day to solve it. However nobody sorted it out. The sink in the room didn’t work properly- water drained not very well as well. The carpet in the corridor was dirty. It was 1 bathroom on the floor for 4 rooms.
It was promised to be as a hotel with 2 stars, but in the reality it was a cheap hostel well below any standard. The room was very small, not enough for 3 people and there was just one chair to sit. No kettle in the room. We honestly paid money, please provide bathrooms in good condition according to standard of hygiene.
