Hotel location is excellent. Just a short five minute stroll to the beach front where you will find many good restaurants and bars. The hotel itself has a nice swimming pool with enough sunbeds for the guests as we found a lot of guests go to the beach.
Our room (B8) overlooked the pool with a nice view. Having mobility issues i had to use the steps to get to the first floor as there is no lift. Our room was quite spacious being an "Executive" double. It was serviced daily. It also had decent air con.
The bathroom though was looking tired and indeed needed a refit. The bath panel was loose and water leaked onto the floor after every shower. The sink taps were very slow and the drainage even slower. You also needed a foot stall to enter the shower/bath as it was quite elevated. The breakfast was adequate for our needs although more egg options would be better. This hotel is rated as a 5* however i would personally rate this as a good 4* with upgrades being required.
The hotel staff really make this hotel worth a stay. Maria at reception booked us a car rental for the day which worked really well and in general all staff go above and beyond. Bar prices are very reasonable with about 11 euros for a cocktail which are really good.
Okay so these are my points to make the stay a little better for a 5* hotel.
Bathroom needs a refit
Safety deposit box on the floor in a wardrobe. Difficult to access if you have mobility issues.
Coffee at breakfast comes in small cups, Latte needs to be in a bigger cup as found myself ordering three cups.
Bedroom tea/coffee never replenished. Had to ask daily for tea bags etc...
Water in room never replenished daily. Would have expected that for a 5* hotel although only 1 euro from mini bar.
No free water around hotel reception. Most 5* hotels offer this.
These are just my points above that would have made our stay more memorable. The hotel is very nice and definitely recommend a stay.

the breakfast was good, and the location is convenient—just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, with plenty of restaurants nearby.
Unfortunately, the stay did not feel like a 5-star hotel experience. Although I arrived after the official 2:00 PM check-in time, I still had to wait almost an hour because the room was not ready. Communication with the staff could also have been much better.

Lovely pool, nice breakfast.
Staff were friendly and helpful but were not trained very well. They appeared to be new as it was start of season.
Spa facility wasn't open.
Surrounding area was scruffy, building site opposite hotel.
