Areti Hotel was everything we needed and more for a family vacation of six. With my mother having mobility issues, we needed a ground floor room so we could use a wheelchair when needed. The hotel set her up in a lovely room facing the pool area. There was a ramp to get her in and out if she couldn't make the few steps, this was all so helpful. The location of the hotel is great, as Kamari beach(about a 5 minute walk) is on the flatter part of the island and we could wheel her to many shops and restaurants. One of the islands bus stops is located a few steps away from Areti Hotel as well, which is so convenient if you plan on using the buses.
Whenever we needed any information, Nicole, was so helpful, and kind and gave us options to consider. She has a great sense of humor and we loved her stories. The entire hotel staff is wonderful! And to my great delight, there are kitties that hang out around the hotel and visit the pool area frequently. The are friendly, clean, and playful cats. We and many other guests loved watching them play. They added a joyful, homey spirit.
The breakfast was simple and delicious. As someone with a food allergy, I appreciate that.
We felt extremely safe in the area and walked everywhere in Kamari both day and night.
We would absolutely stay at Areti Hotel again. It was a beautiful home base for a lovely family trip.
