It’s not that I disliked but I expected the rooms to be a little bit more upmarket for the price (even if first price - nearly 400 euros a night)

We thoroughly enjoyed our 8-day stay at Le Cottage. We travelled in June and Le Cottage was a little oasis with excellent facilities and a friendly and helpful staff. I am happy to say that the AC worked wonderfully! As Americans, we are used to air conditioning and it's one of our requirements when traveling during the summer. Our room very comfortable and big (we had a sitting room next to the bedroom) with a large bathroom). We also had a terrace with a table and chairs and chaise lounge. We opted to have the terrific breakfast at the hotel every morning. The pool was fabulous. We tended to use it late afternoon after a day out and about. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to take advantage of the spa services. Overall, we found the hotel and spa to be a great value for the price and would definitely stay there again.
While we found Le Cottage very comfortable, we didn't think there was much to do nearby in Argeles-sur-Mer. There is a weekly market day and there are a few restaurants and shops within walking distance. We rented a car in Perpignan and used it to travel around the region - which is beautiful and easy to navigate.

The room were clean.
Little friendliness at the reception section. There was no elevator. At breakfast, several food were not replaced. The parking fee was mandatory in an open space.
