Definitely not worth money. Towels were wet. There wasn’t even a bottle of water in the room. The bathroom smelled so bad. It took me 1 hour talked and shouted on the phone to the receptionist to change my room and it was in the middle of the night. Then they gave me a good room.

Overall a comfortable stay with helpful, welcoming staff.

Lovely staff from reception to cleaner. Comfy bed Plenty tea coffe

Very noisy in corridors even after 11pm Couldn't sleep as noise from traffic kept me awake even when I closed the window then I was too warm even with radiator off

Conveniently located and good value for an overnight stay

The hotel is clean and conveniently located in central Middlesbrough

Car parking is an additional charge and a real tight squeeze when parking the car

Very pleasant with a small inconvenience from some staff.

The reception staff, check in, parking and the morning waitressing staff, all very pleasant, helpful and polite.

The evening bar/waitressing staff, only the male staff seemed to do anything, from serving drinks to clearing tables. No one took table orders, I had to get my own cutlery, one staff was behind bar on phone, oblivious to surroundings. Other clients, appeared to be sat at tables waiting for someone to take orders, not sure if this would have been done, but at least inform clients how to order food.

Reception didn’t feel warm / light / airy. Odd that it faced onto a road, not a great outside space. Would be better opening onto the benches open area to the side.

Was ok but wouldn’t recommend.

The room was big and bed comfortable.

The bathroom had damaged paintwork and looked old. The window ledges were dirty and the carpets had stains. The swimming pool and jacuzzi had damaged tiles and looked grubby, needs renovating.

staff very friend except pool staff. parking is tight. Not a lot else in middlebrough. good location - as long as you don't venture out late.

it is all a bit tired and no aircon so you have to open the window and the road noise is very loud. and bar meals were not very good value compared to most hotels

It was a bargain price? 👍 Aye, definitely money well spent 👍 I went to a gig at Middlesbrough Town Hall, and the Leonardo Hotel's just a few stone throws away👍👍 The breakfast was Lush, and vegetarians like me are well catered for with the Lush vegetarian sausages 👍 The next time I go to a gig in Middlesbrough, I'll be booking a room at the Leonardo Hotel. ps The staff were really nice people 👍👌

A 24/7 bar would be nice 😉🙂

Pleasant short stay

Staff very helpful and welcoming. Rooms were spotless. Food in bar was ok. Would like more variety on menu. Breakfast was quite good.

The Gym and swimming pool was dirty and full of immigrants that as a woman on her own made me feel very uneasy. they spat in the pool and glared at me. The member of staff did not move from his seat.

ordered from the room service. extortionate prices and they order from a takeaway nearby and serve you the pizza in a plain box. then have the cheek to charge a tray fee to bring it to the room. terrible.
