Lovely facility with great staff.

Quiet, peaceful, secure, lovely grounds and great staff. Located fairly close to city center. Good restaurant.

A beautiful hotel with a swimming pool and first-class service, a short (10 min) walk from the center. The room facing the inner block was completely quiet. Breakfast in the standard of a 5-star hotel!

The property has a classic hacienda style . Very luxurious architecture with high feelings. Gorgeous furniture with big rooms and private interior patio that gives the experience of a private hacienda of the 1940’s.

Oasis hotel to enjoy

The hotel is colonial style and well take care off, beautiful gardens and pool. My room was quite and clean.

Breakfast was limited. This hotel is on a walking distance from the city

Top notch hotel in quiet area within walking area of key sights - Perfect!

Food was amazing - on-site restaurant is great and the breakfast was fabulous Great location in the nice part of town but still close enough to walk downtown on a safe main thoroughfare Loved the Galapagos turtle Juanita and llamas strolling around the grounds Box lunch provided if you leave early for a tour

Decent stay in Arequipa

Probably known as one of the best hotels in Arequipa. The hotel has been around for a while and sits just on the outskirts of the main town. It’s about a 15 min walk into the main attractions. Although a little dated, the room was comfortable and spacious. Shower was a little weak but fine. Breakfast was a large spread with a lot of options buffet style. They have a large turtle in the grounds too. Staff super friendly! The chap who picked us up from the airport was incredible (Edwin?).

Nice stay with space for improvement

The breakfast was delicious and lots of variety. The whole atmosphere in the room and the high ceiling in our room.

The shower was small. The majority of the staff doesn’t speak english. The sauna and the steam room were outdated and unpleasant.

GREAT HOTEL

Our room was very nice, 100% clean, beautiful view to the garden. Breakfast was very good, the people of the hotel were very nice. Food was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel 😀👍👍

Maybe closer to city center, but otherwise I will give an 100% for excellence. I ´ll recommend this hotel to friends as they will be very happy and enjoy their stay

What we needed but won’t go back

We loved all the amenities - pool, playground, alpacas, and lots of space.

The breakfast food was warm at best. The jacuzzi was not hot. There isn’t an elevator and most rooms were on the second floor - if mobility issues it’s a challenge as there are a lot of stairs. The rooms were warm. Even adjusting the thermostat it didn’t get below a stuffy 70 the entire stay. You get one bottle of water as a “welcome” but you’re on your own after that, or you can pay inflated prices for a small bottle of water.

My favourite Arequipa hotel

Costa Del Sol is a classy 4* property; well managed, well trained staff, excellent location within walking distance of central Arequipa. My go-to place to stay in the white city! Rooms are very comfortable, well insulated (sound + temperature) and clean. Great buffet breakfast too! Delightful gardens with pool, made better by Juanita the Galapagos Tortoise who is older than the hotel (>80 years).

The footballers from Lima who should stay somewhere cheaper!

Amazing hotel to stay in Arequipa

The hotel was located in a very quiet area. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. I loved sitting outside of the restaurant for breakast. The breakfast selection was very good and the service excellent. All staff provided exceptional service. The hotel itself is very beautiful and well appointed.

The free wifi was a bit slow to use for work and it is important to note that although there were only 2 floors, if you have trouble with taking your luggage up the stairs then ask the staff to help you.

Lovely gardens and pool area

Staff were friendly and helpful, hotel decor was great, the room was spacious and clean and the breakfast was good. The staff serving in the bar and at breakfast were attentive. The Alpacas and Giant Tortoises in the gardens were great to see. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

A niggle really, but a complimentary bottle of water each per day would have been nice, especially as there were no shops local to the hotel.

Luxurious hotel with welcoming staff in a quiet area of Arequipa

Very large suite with huge bedroom, sitting room, dressing area & marble bathroom. Pool area very nice. Good breakfast choices. Friendly staff

Everything was lovely except our room was a bit dark not helped by the brown colour scheme. A bit of a walk into Arequipa centre but doable
