It was located in a very nice area, 2 minutes walk from the beach. A lot of restaurants and bars around, and very convenient if you plan to use ferries to other cities. It was also close to Duomo train station, very easy to get to the property. It was clean, the AC was working nice.
We didn’t have soap, but the host was very responsive and brought it on our request. Thank you

Very central location in the old town on main street near the promenade and Piazza Liberta easy to reach from train station with public bus only few stations away. The staff is nice breakfast is ok - coffee and cornetto croissant, plus limited choise buffet consisting of boiled egs, butter, small pieces of hard bread, one type ham and cheese, fried bacon and saussage and sweet yogurt and juice.
For us it was not a problem, but if you are light sleeper there is general noise all day long from the bars and restaurants around until 2 am, especially on weekends.
Hygiene definiteley shoul be improved, generally the facility needs renovation.
The main problem is layers of moulder all around the toilet which looks very dirty, disqusting and unhealthy - all around the tyles in and around the tiny shower cabin and its plastic doors and even the shower hose is black from moulder. This is unacceptable, you are constantly under stress not to accidentaly touch the body in that tiny space with the dirty shower hose or plastic doors. Its not aboyt luxury its about basic thing - hygiene and health is most important thing for guests and this is done with just a little extra cleaning effort, regular maintanance and extra few detergents, and of course from time to time small investments im new shower hoses. With little investment and effort the small hotel has great potential because of the great location.
We asked the cleaning ladies, they were nice and they made extra effort and cleaned again the room and toilet. However this needs very deep cleaning with strong detergents and to be regularily maintained.
