The room was lovely. We had a lovely room in the main building which seemed to have been newly renovated which was wonderful.
To start off the check in was very chaotic. There were many people waiting with staff clearly stressed. This reduced the level of service you come to expect when arriving at a property like this. The food at Woven was distinctly average with some very low points amongst the courses especially after eating at Row on 5 a few days before. The breakfast was not at the standard you expect at a property like this with only a very small amount of items to choose from. Either make it a full à la carte or include a proper buffet. Lastly, I stumbled across some birds which were including an owl which were tethered. I’m not sure how long these birds fly for a day but considering UK government guidance stating that owls should not be tethered I found this very concerning and left with a very negative feeling.
