I had such a wonderful stay here and everything truly exceeded my expectations. The accommodation had absolutely everything we needed, and you can really feel how thoughtful and well-prepared everything is.
The place was very clean, which made our stay even more comfortable. Julie and Martin were incredibly kind and welcoming, and they gave us so much helpful advice for our trip, which we really appreciated.

Very roomy suite with nice kitchenette. Serviced every day! Owners were extremely helpful with local advice and which island trip to book. We were comfortably holed up for 24 hours during tropical storm so no complaints!!
Personally found the bed too soft but that is just a preference.

The management was the most incredible that we have ever had the pleasure to work with. Julie is so personable, helpful and a pleasure to deal with at all times. The room, kitchen, bedroom, beds, bathroom were all suited with complete attention to detail...there is absolutely nothing else to think of that would have improved our stay. Julie assisted us with planning activities, booking, making perfect recommendations and we could have stayed at their place for weeks with total satisfaction. The apartment was close to downtown and we walked several times a day along the beach both to downtown and to the Waitangi treaty grounds. If I could rate our stay with 20 stars, I would definitely have done so!! We can't wait to return some time in the near future...look no further than the gateway motel and apartments...you won't regret it, that I can assure you!!
